Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Rancho Encantado - and from the moment we arrived we could not have wished for better. On checking in, the staff were wonderful and everyone friendly. We were offered some hot apple cider which was delicious and shown the activity schedule for the week. Our room was ready even though we were early, and we even had an anniversary surprise brought to us. The room took our breath away. We booked a Mountain View Casita and it was stunning, especially in the snow! The room was enormous, more like an apar**ent. There was a separate shower (which was one of the best we’ve ever been in) and bath. We had a fireplace in our casita and the fire butlers who came to light the fire were brilliant. We especially enjoyed having s’mores in our room! The furnishings and amenities were top notch, as you’d expect in a Four Seasons. The beds are huge and comfortable. All of the food and beverages were excellent. We didn’t order lots but what we had was very good. We did the margarita demo which included some delicious drinks that our server (Donna Lee - she was really wonderful!) made to our tastes. We had an early lunch and were really impressed by the sandwiches and soup. We had room service one night and we were a little disappointed by the chicken sandwich - it just didn’t seem fresh and Four Seasons standard. The activities were great. We were the only ones on our 9am hike and Daniel was really very good. A very enjoyable way to spend an hour in the morning. We also used the complimentary spa facilities which was pleasant. On the day we arrived, we tried to book same day into the cooking class. Unfortunately as nobody had booked this 24 hours prior it wasn’t being run. Had we known it was an option, we would have booked into it, so it was a shame we missed out on that. Perhaps sharing the week’s activities in advance for inbound guests would avoid future disappoin**ent. The shuttle into Santa Fe was a nice touch. It was comfortable and meant we were able to go into town for a few drinks and get back safely. When paying $$$ for a hotel, we really expect the best and have heightened expectations when justifying the price. We got it. We’ve been fortunate enough to stay at excellent properties, including other Four Seasons’, around the world and have zero hesitation in saying this may well be the best we have ever been to. Thank you, Four Seasons. Without a doubt, we will travel back to Santa Fe just to visit again!

This hotel is located in a beautiful hilly location with great views. The facilities, staff , food are all up to Four Seasons standards

Great service. Nice, big and comfortable room. Wood fire place is quite enjoyable. Attentive staff. Restaurant food and service was excellent. Spa services were excellent. Location is at ranch about 15 minutes from Santa Fe, with shuttle service to Santa Fe center, which is excellent. Nothing to dislike.

We stayed at Rancho Encantado for 6 days in February with our 7 year old. We chose it because it had a heated pool and was in a great area for exposing out child (and ourselves!) to lots of nature, culture, and history. This was a stretch financially for our family and happily in the end it felt totally worth it. The resort was so peaceful and the staff very warm and professional. Our room was so comfortable - we spent about half the time out and about adventuring, and half the time relaxing in our room - perfect for a family with a child. We debated renting an airbnb or splurging for this, and this absolutely felt like the right decision. The restaurant was pricy but justifiably so, the food, cocktails, and service were all excellent. It was nice to have the option of room service after a long day of exploring. The resort has a beautiful trail through the hills that was perfect for a run or short walk to take in the view, and because it was on-site, i could duck out for a walk while my husband and son had breakfast. We did not book any tours through the hotel because of our budget, but the gentleman at the adventure center was friendly and answered our questions about the area enthusiastically without pressuring us to book anything. In short, our stay exceeded our expectations, we felt very welcome yet had a lot of peace and privacy, and I almost cried when we checked out. I hope we can return someday!

Just completed another amazing stay at the Four Seasons Rancho Encantado Santa Fe. As always, the team there are attentive and always ready to go above-and-beyond to ensure your stay is memorable. We were there to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and¬ the special touches and birthday greetings were greatly appreciated. We also had the good fortune to stay in one of the recently refurbished suites, and they are very well designed and lighter than before. Nice job! Special thanks to the entire staff but especially the manager, Mr. Bixente Pery, who provided personal attention from our booking and throughout our stay. This team is so attentive and ready to assist with any requests or issues, and it is always hard to say goodbye to this enchanting place. We highly recommend the Four Seasons Rancho Encantado whenever you have the opportunity to visit Santa Fe!

My wife and I went for a get away before Chris**as. The customer service from Pablo, Salvador, Abel, Otto, Alex (Capi), Masa, and Maryuli was absolutely incredible. I am sure I left off 15 other names that made our stay so special. The hiking is fantastic, the food on property is very good, and the shuttle to Santa Fe is 7 minutes and very convenient. Get the in house fireplace if it is cold. You wil not regret it.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. Our casita was very clean, spacious and cozy, with a huge balcony. It was cold in January so we didn't take advantage of the balcony but the view was amazing, especially in the morning with the sunrise. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating to our requests. The grounds of the property are very picturesque. We dined at the restaurant once and the food was tasty and fresh. The location is about 10 minutes drive from downtown Santa Fe but that was great for us because we enjoyed the surrounding views and explored the area in more details. If we ever travel to Santa Fe again, this will be our choice of stay.

My wife and I have visited Rancho Encantado three times prior to our latest visit and I have to say that our fourth visit was unquestionably the best. We went there with my mom and step-father, both of whom are well-traveled, and they were blown away by the resort. Everything was perfectly: the pre-visit communications, the service once we were onsite, the dining at Terra, the condition of the suite, the service during our visit, and the experience at the spa. The general manager Bixente greeted us when we arrived. This has never happened at any of the other 5 star resorts that we have visited over the years. The resort and the grounds are stunningly beautiful, the suites are amazing, the service is impeccable and managed with the highest level of professionalism, and it's all just a short drive to Santa Fe. Highly recommended!!!

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary at the Santa Fe Four Seasons. Our experience was outstanding! From the room and food to the spa and property, everything was fantastic. We felt special the entire stay no matter what we were doing (spa, bar, restaurant, shuttle, room service).
