Santa Lucia Boutique Hotel

Stayed here for the first time and we were impressed from the word go. A very clean hotel in an excellent and peaceful location out of the hustle and bustle of the busy capital. Our room faced farmland which provided us with a great view and a sense of calm and tranquility. The hotel staff were all very very efficient, especially Natalie who was very professional, friendly and helpful. She understands and anticipates her clients’ needs very very quickly and takes swift action as needed. We would highly recommend this hotel and we would certainly not hesitate to stay there again. Beautiful small hotel in a quite village in Gozo. Very spacious rooms with a large bathroom. Very equipped Bar and the restaurant is very good value for money. Breakfast is available Buffet or al a carte menu. Friendly Staff. Parking available

It is the second time we went to Santa Lucia Boutique Hotel! We had a super pleasant and relaxing stay. The owners as well as the staff members are very welcoming with unexpected kind attentions! The hotel, the outdoors, the landscape, the view, the room, everything is made with beauty. And the a**osphere is so resourcing. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant! We will come again!

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and the hotel itself is superb with terms of service and staff making you feel welcome The views from our room were great, the room spacious, comfy and clean. Bfast was amazing, we would have liked to see a bit more items in the buffet. Nonetheless the bfast portion was to our liking. Defintively would return again

Our first choice for accommodation upon our long flight from the US returning to Malta was to return the same hotel which we stayed 7 months ago. I knew that it would be very quiet sleeping in a very comfortable in a truly king sized bed, a daily very ample delicious breakfast and other meals that we wish to eat and warm with a friendly staff to welcome us. Santa Lucia Boutique Hotel did not disappoint. We fell in love with Gozo on our first trip during the spring of 2023. We definitely wanted to return. We do not regret coming during winter months. Winter in Malta is mild with daytime temperatures at the lowest in the mid 50 degrees Fahrenheit and some days in the mid 60 degrees Fahrenheit which I find perfect sightseeing weather and less crowds since it is off season. We left our American family in south east Florida after our Chris**as sojourn and they then returned to the mid west and western plains where they were met with - 20s and blizzard continental weather. They had to return to jobs and school. We knew we had a better deal then our family but we are older and chose this lifestyle. Retirement is sweet.

Rating 1 star because it was one star hotel experience not a 4 star hotel on how they treat customers. A terrible stay from the beginning to the end. First of all a floor play mat is not meant for babies to sleep on. Using folded sheets its not safe for the baby. Re- Check the health and safety regulations well. Dinner time came. They used the entrance are to serve the dinner. We were all scrammed together. Servants couldn’t pass and serve the customers. Chair touching chairs, heads touch heads. Not hygienic at all. A four course meal was served through 5 hours!!! A child’s plate was forgotten. Some plates were served cold. Their explanation was staff and management don’t understand each other. And gave us no complimentary gifts, paid in full. This is definitely an example of how not to treat loyal customers. Shame! A horrible start to the new year!

This hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were excellent and helpful when planning my day. The breakfast was great and so was breakfast service. Some items were brought to you and then you chose main off menu. The bed was comfortable, shower worked great and balcony had a beautiful view. Pool area was beautiful although too cold to go in while I was there. I did sit out a couple days and enjoyed the view. One thing you should know is that it is 2km from nearest store. Hotel does have food, drinks and snacks but just be aware you can’t just go next door to the corner store. There is a bus stop close by and it is an easy 2km walk to Victoria. I would recommend this hotel and as solo traveller felt very safe there.

A lovely well kept hotel with countryside views. Receptionist, Natasha, polite and helpful as are the hotel staff. We ordered the gozotan platter which we enjoyed by the poolside. English breakfast well presented and very filling. Will visit again.

The service and friendliness is exceptional, the room was really modern and very comfortable. The evening dinner was scrumptious, probably a bit too much food and well presented, and delicious. Breakfast was really superb, recommend the omelette.
