My stay at Ocean Suites was absolutely wonderful! The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had a delightful experience. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfectly located in the heart of town. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

We had an amazing time at Ocean Suites and can only say good things. The only thing you need to be aware is the music from the bar at goes untill 00h. As long as you are aware of this before you book, You're gonna have a great time. We stayed 4 nights, some we went to bed while the bar is still full and we still manage to rest. The rooms are next level. Probably the most comfortable bed we've been, the shower has a lot of pressure (which we were aware could be a problem in Santa Maria), 30s from the beach and close to all main spots in Santa Maria center. But with all of this being said, the best part of all was really the staff. Before arriving we were in contact with Dory who answered all our questions in record time, and once we were there everyone in the cafe is so welcoming, from bar, cleaning and kitchen staff that you feel like you're at home. Shoutout to Felino and Adilson from the morning shift who gave us a lot of information, took care of any questions/requests we needed and always with a smile. Number one choice in Sal from now on. Thank you very much Ocean family

We recently stayed here 4 nights in the Tito Paris Suite. We had a fantastic time . The suites ate located in the heart of Santa Maria over the Ocean Bar which has music every night and is certainly the place to be in Sal on a Saturday night .The restaurant offers great food . The suites themselves were huge and really tastefully decorated with a big deep balcony. Ours had a view over the square and was a perfect people watching spot. The staff are excellent and in fact were a real highlight of our stay. They are warm helpful and fun a real credit to Ocean Shores and to Cape Verde. Special praise to Nelson and Adilsen. Steffi the manager was super helpful and organised a day tour of the island with Monica another highlight of our stay and a local Sim Card for me .Thanks for a brilliant stay. A shame Sal is so far from Australia but hopefully we will return one day.

Live music every evening which is acceptabel but it was followed by a dj who played much to loud until two in the morning. Like trying to sleep on the dancefloor.

One of the best hotel ever visited. Very stylish, industrial hotel, well placed, nice ambiance. Spent 5 days with friends and all the staff are so polite , they speak very well English, and others tongue. If u need anything they help you with pleasure.

This was my first solo holiday, I can honestly say that I don't think I could have picked a better place to stay in Sal, Cape Verde other than Ocean Suites! The location is perfect, rightin the centre of Santa Maria, so lots amenities on your door step, and close proximity to the beach and pier. My room was absolutely massive and had balcony with a partial sea view. I loved the unique decor, the room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. The staff at this place go above and beyond to make you sure that you enjoying your stay, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. I want to give a big thanks to them all, but especially, Dory, Adlison and Diante for always being so pleasant and making sure I was okay. This is definitely my happy place and I cannot wait to return. Please don't hesitate to stay here, I promise you will not be disappointed! Best wishes, Angela from Manchester

Fabulous for a solo traveller, I had a spacious room in a great location, by the sea and town square, perfect for reading, writing, chilling out, popping out for dips in the sea, and exploring the town and beyond to the whole island...Staff are so lovely, helpful, warmly welcoming and chatty, I would not hestitate to recommend a stay here...if you prefer to be hanging out with the locals and in the middle of things, this is for you (rather than closed off in a hotel that's hidden away from the island), and was perfect for me: live music every night until late (which means you will hear it when upstairs, which is perfectly fine for me, but may not suit all)...the bar downstairs, where you'll have breakfast, Ocean Cafe, does wonderful food, but if you want a change I'd recommend Africa+SAB across the square, and if you want to keep dancing past midnight, check out Pub Calema, the busy club and bar around the corner, always busy with locals. I had a wonderful week here, and I look forward to returning soon. Lovely place xx

We went in February and loved literally everything. The room was amazing, very spacious, a very different decoration than usual that was beautiful and good stuff, like a Bluetooth amplifier. The food is very tasty and with a lot of variety (you have to try their sushi pizza!). The atmosphere in the bar below the rooms is incredible, with live music at night and an improvised dance floor. When we went, we saw a lot of the staff suddenly doing a choreography to Cape Verdian music, which was a joy to watch. The proximity to the beach and other amenities is also a big plus, but still the thing we liked the most was the incredibly friendly staff. They make you feel like you are a family and get to know you by name, always treat you with a very sincere attitude and help you with whatever you need. It felt as if we were with a group of friends, and it just happened that they were the staff at the place we were staying. If I go back to Sal island I am definitely booking Ocean Suites again.
