They treat you like family. I arrived late on my check in day and they accommodated me even though i was late. I called a few times thru out the day to let them know i would arrive late and the owner said no problem. When we checked in he gave us a really nice double queen room downstairs with a huge restroom that was ADA friendly which ended up working out better for my mom. She can't climb stairs easily. She has Bad knees and back.
The location of the hotel is right in Downtown Santa Paula. Right next to Anna's cider. Super convenient to walk around downtown and shop or enjoy the amazing restaurants SP has to offer. I will continue to stay when i can amd when there's room available. If you see a room available book it!!!! Cause they book up fast. I highly recommend stsying here any chance you get. You won't be disappointed!!!

Not welcoming/ Nor Accommodating-No second floor room--Place is under renovation My room 104 had no desk and chairs. Second day was given two chairs t set up my computer. Had to put my stuff on the floor-no counters-Loud banging above me until 9.30 to 10 PM probably moving heavy stuff-renovating late. Cramped room--Could hear 105 loud laughing until 1AM-Had to knock on their door so I could get sleep. Some flooding-kitchen area.

This hotel feels like home away from home. The service at the front desk was perfect and the room was clean and had every amenity you would want - including a hot shower/ bath. On top of that, it was very affordable for the area. Definitely saving this one for another visit.

I liked the fact that it was close to downtown shops and restaurants where we could walk to. The receptionist was very helpful in upgrading our room to a larger one.

We had traveled all day and didnt get there til 7 in the evening. Someone forgot to tell us that there was a parade in Santa Paula that day and we couldn get anywhere near the Inn for another 1 1/2 hr. Very disappointing as we were tired and had nowhere else to go. The man at the desk was nice and did call us when the parade had cleared away. A bad start.

It was a very average spot but at a good price which saved me money over other places the same distance from Ojai.

Arrived at 12:30pm room was not ready. Reception not present. Phone number taped to window was busy. Housekeeper had to call for service. Check-in provided key but room was not ready and I was told they would send a message to my phone when ready. Message never arrived. Room was semi-clean with remnants leftover from previous occupants including a photo postcard of the family. Sheets were clean but scratchy and pillows were flat. Internet service was down my entire visit so much that reception couldn't even charge my credit card deposit. NO INTERNET AT ALL. Mini fridge mad a whooshing sound all night and I didn't sleep a wink with comfort at a low. The only positive was the cute courtyard and very large room.

Property was nice. Doors have gaps underneath so it's easy to hear what's happening inside other rooms when walking down the halls. Some things shouldn't be heard.

Fabulous stay. Staff were so accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay at the Santa Paula Inn again.
