Hotel de los años 70 del siglo pasado, un viaje en el tiempo, al pasado, no wifi, no adaptado para minusválidos, las instalaciones desgastadas por el uso del tiempo no se han renovado, las habitaciones con la llaves antiguas de latón, el acceso por la puerta principal supone que se tengan que superar unos escalones imposibles para personas con movilidad reducida antes de poder acceder a un pre recibidor con un ascensor hasta la recepción.
Las habitaciones con los muebles originales de mas de 50 años y la loseria del suelo desconchada por el tiempo, el baño, con grifos individuales para el agua caliente y fría, y para la manguera de la ducha y el grifo de la bañera, los sobretechos, repintados en blanco sobre placas de amianto, racholas de las pareces algunas de ellas rotas,
En fin, un lugar para la nostalgia con la decadencia que el tiempo ha imprimido en sus instalaciones y en su ambiente.
Lo único positivo, el acceso directo a la playa.

⛱ Sublime séjour à l'hôtel Royal Sun...nous étions idéalement situés , avec vue sur piscine ( laquelle nous avons pu largement profiter tous les jours surtout tôt le matin et soir tard pour un plouf en amoureux )et transats face à notre habitation mais également une vue sur mer 🏝 Juste exceptionnel...Quelle chance de pouvoir profiter de la plage juste en face , de la belle terrasse de l'hôtel avec pas mal d'animations en soirées mais également à proximité de la superbe avenue oú boutiques , bars , restos et animations rythment l'été pour nos escapades nocturnes. De même que le personnel est d'une extrême bienveillance, toujours souriant et à l'écoute. Le restaurant est juste au top

Check in was time consuming. The rooms are filthy. The best part about this trip was leaving. The beach is overcrowded and inundated peddlers. The AC broke and we were treated as if it was our fault. The AC, btw, really doesnt mean anything. Its just barely there circulation- no temp control. The bed might as well have been a sheet of plywood and the pillow was smelly. Do not book this hotel.

Disappointed in the room, bed was super hard and very uncomfortable. There was parties and music going on outside till 0300, couldn’t sleep much because of it. Wasn’t a 4 star hotel in my mind.

My 4th stay at Htop royal sun I will be back again in August 22.
The hotel offers all I need, friendly staff, good food & the hotel is directly on the beach. The town has plenty of shops, bars & restaurants.
Transfer is 35 minutes from girona airport in July 2022 it was 57 euro. I was the all inclusive option & it’s definitely value for money.

A former 4 star hotel that needs urgent refurbishment.
The sea view room I paid for as on the website was a different photo. Most of the rooms are partial sea view.
Very limited parking. No paid parking around and my car was broken into (don’t park on the road).
Hotel is located in a very crowded beach.
