Hotel Capital de Galicia

The accommodation was perfect to our needs and the staff went out of their way to assist us in our stay. Even when a taxi was unavailable to take us to our transfer to Portugal. The staff ensured that we got there on time so we did not miss our transport. A wonderful stay and recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Santiago.

Lovely small family owned Hotel, Ruben and staff very welcoming and accommodating, room clean and comfortable with large bath/shower, continental breakfast adequate, price very reasonable, good 25minute walk to old town.

We spend 3 nights at the hotel. Rooms were ok and it's placed very good outside the city center near a big shopping mall. Service was absolutly exelent and breakfast was fantastic and cheap. We absolutely recomend.

I initially looked at Air BnB but very few ensuite rooms so this is exceptional value for a hotel room and a single at that with quite a large bathroom. I stayed here 6 days after finishing the Camino and it is a good choice and excellent location. The bus stop for the airport bus -6A- is a few doors down. Bus costs 1 euro - yes 1 euro! It is also a road above the Camino Frances and close to the Camino Ingles. 10-15 mins walk to the old city, 30 mins /5 euro taxi to the bus and train station. Over the main road is the large shopping centre- As Cancelas- with food court, Carrefour, Primark, Zara, etc. NB all shops closed Sundays and a lot of bars but food court and cinema open. In a residential area so it is a lot quieter than in the centre / old part. Run by a father - Pepe- and son Ruben- they offer a very very clean hotel which is maintained well. They are also on hand all the time and very helpful. Pepe having run a cafe in Fulham, London, they also have Tetley tea bags and can make a pot of British tea unlike most places in Spain. I would definitely recommend as budget friendly and very clean.

Gracias a Rubén y su padre por una atención maravillosa, unos estupendos anfitriones que nos hicieron sentir como en casa y nos ayudaron a tener un buen camino, la habitación acogedora, muy limpia y las vistas a la piscina nos dieron fuerzas para continuar la marcha.

Un hotel perfecto para pasar unos días en Santiago, ubicado en una zona muy tranquila a 20 minutos del centro, habitación confortable y limpia, desayuno muy bueno, atención al cliente también muy buena, todo perfecto y muy recomendable.

Sosta motociclistica con la moglie. Struttura non nuovissima e proprio per questo ti fa sentire davvero a casa. Pulizia della stanza e del bagno davvero da sottolineare più e più volte; capitato raramente di trovare, nei bagni, una pulizia del genere. Colazione assolutamente oltre la norma con prodotti genuini e non industriali; il pane, il gestore, (Rubén persona squisita) lo compra da un panettiere e non in un supermercato! Garage grande e comodissimo. Che aggiungere? Sicuramente da riprenotare in una eventuale nuova scorribanda motociclistica in Galizia

Pues sí... Nos hemos sentido como en casa. La habitación y el parking fueron confortables, el desayuno perfecto y la atención impecable... sin duda que volveremos en nuestra próxima visita a Santiago de Compostela

Excelente atencion de su anfitrion Ruben y familia! Hotel impecable, exquisito cafe del desayuno. Muy buena relacion calidad precio. Muy recomendado! Estamos encantadas! Si volvemos a Santiago nos hospedaremos nuevamente!
