Lignos

This is easily the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune of coming across. I booked a room for myself, my mum and 3 year old daughter as I was working in Santorini for a week. I booked through *********** and turned up only to find the hotel completely closed. Our taxi driver kindly called a number on the door and a cleaner came to meet us to tell us that we couldn't stay there that night but if we took a 10 min walk (this turned out to be 15 with luggage and toddler on Santorini streets) we could stay at a different hotel for one night then come back to Lignos the following day. I asked if we could have a taxi arranged for us, they refused and told us to walk. She then just left leaving us no choice but to walk as our taxi from the airport had already left by then. We arrived at the other hotel which incidentally happens to be the ones where the photographs of the pool are taken from, Lignos doesn't have one and should not be advertising itself so. I told the manager I was extremely unhappy to be put in this position and asked if we could stay in the new hotel for the duration of our trip rather than moving the following day which due to work I would have been unable to do. I was told no and so asked to speak with the owner of the hotel who screamed at me down the phone and told me my only options were to accept the new "deal" they were offering us, apparently we were very lucky to be offered a night in the other hotel, or to have a full refund. I then went to find an alternative hotel which I managed to do within an hour and then called the owner back to confirm I wanted to go ahead with the refund. She told me I couldn't have one electronically and that it had to go back on the card I paid with however she was in Athens and therefore unable to process it. I told her that online banking should be an option and that I wanted to have the refund immediately especially seeing as I had now paid for an alternative hotel. She refused to continue speaking to me and wanted to be put on the phone to the manager, bearing in mind she was screaming at me the entire time and I hadn't raised my voice this was also incredibly unprofessional and rude. The manager told me to come back in 3 days time and I would be given my refund then, I told her I wanted this agreement in writing and she pretended to email both me and my mum several times with the agreement. Neither of us got any of the emails and she told us that our emails must be down. Very convenient. She also said we were no longer entitled to a full refund as had been agreed but that we would have to still pay the *********** fees for some reason. This is a separate issue that I have tried to take up with them and am yet to resolve as their customer service is beyond a joke. I am only giving this hotel one star as I don't have the option to go any lower. I cannot believe that an establishment like this can get away with taking money for bookings they do not honour and then have the audacity to be rud

As one of the cheapest hotels in the city centre you get what you expect. We had no window in our first room (only the opening on the door through which someone could put their arm to unlock the door from outside), aircon broke after one use and the reception is never open. If you need anything at this hotel go to their partner hotel (deluxe rest boutique) across the road who were very helpful. The rooms were clean and room service was prompt, however the showers were terrible, edges of the beds drew blood on both me and my partner and there was a nail sticking out the floor in doorway. I recommend this hotel provides a welcome leaflet as we only by chance were made aware by the cleaner that reception at delux could help us and that the pool there was for our use as well, it is not located at Lignos. Location in the city however is very good.

The thing that stood out at this hotel was the service and kindness of receptionist and host Donja. It was also an accommodating stay due to the porch space. Our room did not have as many windows as I would have liked. Along with this minor detail, I will also say that the humidity was a little higher than I would have liked. For the price, this stay was okay, but the humidity was a negative factor for us (we are being picky about this).

Reservé pour 3 nuits en couple avec 1 enfant. Les chambres et salle de bain sont minuscule et je ne parle pas du bac a douche avec un rideau aussi bien inutile que peux hygienique . Pas de cafe ni autre collation. Bien que proche du centre(ideal pour flaner dans fira) le quartier est extremement bruyant, je pense qu'il y a un concours de celui qui a le pot dechappement le plus sonore de l'ile... sinon le menage est fait tout les jours et l'employée est tres gentille . En bref, bien pour un dortoir pas chere pour visiter fira .

L'hotel gode di una posizione perfetta, che consente di raggiungere il centro di Fira facendo pochi passi a piedi, e di una bella vista mare. È dotato di tutto quello che serve (frigorifero, asciugacapelli, TV), le stanze sono pulite e il personale è gentilissimo. Possibilità di parcheggio in strada di fronte all'hotel. Assolutamente consigliato.

Nous avions réservé pour deux nuit dans cet hôtel. Finalement, un imprévu, notre ferry a dû nous laisser sur une îles nommée Milos car il y avait trop de vent pour continuer de naviguer jusqu'à Santorin. Ducoup j'ai appelé l'hôtel lignos pour leur dire que j'arriverais dans trois jours car le bateau a dû s'arrêter avant et j'aimerais annuler les deux nuits pour reporter les réservations quand je serait à Santorin. L'hôtel a refusé d'annuler alors que nous voulions par la suite réserver encore plusieurs nuits quand nous serons chez eux. Mauvaise politique de l'hôtel, de l'argent foutu en l'air ducoup. N'y allez pas. De mauvaises personnes.

Διάβασα μια παρόμοια αξιολόγηση όποτε κι εμείς είχαμε την ίδια εμπειρία ! Είχαμε κλείσει και πληρώσει το συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο 3 μήνες νωρίτερα, όταν φτάσαμε δεν ήταν κανείς εκεί παρά μόνο ένα σημείωμα με ένα κινητό. Καλέσαμε και μας έστειλαν στο deluxe από εκεί μας έστειλαν σε ένα διπλανό ξενοδοχείο το new haroula. Δεν ξέρω αν πρέπει να αφήσω την υπόλοιπη κριτική για το new haroula. Το δωμάτιο δεν παρείχε πολλά πράγματα στοιχειώδη όπως απλώστρα ή κουρτινα μπάνιου και στο δωμάτιο η κια πόρτα ήταν κλειδωμένη , αργότερα καταλάβαμε ότι βγάζει σε άλλο δωμάτιο. Κακή εμπειρία δεν το προτείνω ούτε ένα τελευταία επιλογή

Como o esperado, ruim. Li as avaliações antes de ir mas paguei para ver… não façam o mesmo. Você paga por um hotel (vendo as fotos e descrição) e não é hospedado no mesmo! Nossa experiência foi assim: escolhi por fotos e paguei pelo Lignos, chegando lá nos levaram fazer o check in na recepção de outro hotel (um mais novo e bonito, até aí você pensa que tudo vai ser melhor), depois disso nos levaram em ainda outro!! Um bem mais velho, o quarto era ruim e o banheiro péssimo! A recepção se dizia 24h mas quando precisamos sair para pegar um voo as 5h da manhã ninguém apareceu.

Είχαμε κλείσει 2 μήνες πριν να πάμε στο ξενοδοχείο lignos τελικά μας άλλαξαν ξενοδοχείο και μετά από δυο μέρες μα ξαναλλαξαν χωρίς να μεταφέρουν τις βαλίτσες μας . Κακή επικοινωνία Δεν μας έδωσαν την επιλογή να επιλέξουμε αν θελουμε να μείνουμε στο lignos ή να μας μεταφέρουν 2 φορές για διαμονή 4 ημερών. Ένα πρωί απλά μας πήραν τηλέφωνο και μας είπαν ότι θα μας αλλάξουν ξενοδοχείο χωρίς να έχουμε την δυνατότητα να το συζητήσουμε .Πολύ κακή εξυπηρέτηση διότι ενώ είχαμε κλείσει 2 μήνες πριν μας είπαν ότι τυχεροί είμαστε που βρήκαμε και μας έστειλαν σε οποίο ξενοδοχείο ηθελαν ( ενώ το δικό μας ήταν προπληρωμένο )
