Santellini Hotel

The location was really good, close to the bus station and the beach (full of restaurants). The staff were amazing! Super friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Would love to stay here again!

Wow!! We originally booked for 2 nights as we were going to stay 2 nights in Fira. As soon as we arrived we changed to stay here for all 4 nights and so glad we did. The girls that run the hotel are the most friendly, helpful staff ever. Having read previous reviews about Martha’s jams and breakfast we were looking forward to them and we were not disappointed!! The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. Only a couple minutes walk from the beach and all the lovely bars and restaurants Kamari has to offer. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel!! We loved our stay at the Santellini Hotel. It's a fantastic hotel, right in the heart of Kamari. The hotel is so quiet and peaceful, perfect for lazing around the pool or on the rooftop terrace. Even though you are only 100 yards away from the bars/restaurants (like Mango) you do not hear any outside noise in your rooms. We stayed in room 204 with a view of the pool and never felt overlooked. Never had an issue with getting a sunbed and the AC and Wifi worked a treat. The location of the hotel couldn't be better; step outside of the entrance and you have an abundance of shops, bars, and restaurants. The new square in front of the hotel is very nice. The beach is approximately 100 yards down the road (useful when you want to catch the sunrise in the morning). The bus stop to Thera/Oia is a 2-minute walk up the hill. The staff (Martha, Olga, and Faye) are so wonderful and friendly. Faye was brilliant with us and prior to our arrival had recommended and helped us arrange a meal out in Oia and a sunset boat trip. Faye was always on hand to recommend restaurants and advise us on how to get around the island. The hotel rooms are cleaned daily and breakfast was lovely. Olga was brilliant for providing anything in the evenings from champagne glasses to kettles, mugs, and spare pillows. Highly recommend the Santellini Hotel and will definitely return.

Hotel is very beautiful rooms nice cleaned everyday staff are amazing thankyou to Fay and Olga who made made our stay even more memorable staff pleasant and friendly always polite and smiling will definitely be coming back to the Kamari santorini next year and will be staying at the santellini again can’t wait Thankyou to all staff @ the santellini

Absolutely amazing hotel. Fabulous location in the heart of the resort with shops, bars and restaurants right at the door. Despite that, the street outside is pedestrianised most of the time and is so peaceful and quiet. Our balcony overlooked the street and was perfect for a G&T and some people watching. Breakfast was just delicious with homemade breads and jams on offer as well as a selection of hot options. Everywhere was spotless. The pool was fantastic. The beds were comfortable. The aircon was good. There was a fridge in the room. There was a pull out drying rack on the balcony. Everywhere was freshly decorated and pristine. Olga on reception was extremely helpful and friendly. There was a little bar and a snack menu. You could tell that the owner had taken great care to ensure you had everything you needed. She was regularly checking that everyone was happy. She clearly takes great pride in her hotel and rightly so. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Spent a glorious week in the Santellini. Martha and her team are fantastic hosts. Special shout out for Olga, a super friendly lady always smiling and happy. Room was cleaned every day, couldn't fault house keeping. Our bedroom faced onto the street, we didn't find it noisy probably due to the good double glazing. Why this hotel is only classed as a 3 star is unbelievable, if it was up to me I'd give it 5 stars!

Absolutely beautiful Hotel spotlessly clean ,rooms very comfortable superb Breakfast,can’t ask for better location beach ,restaurants bus stops right on your doorstep but didn’t interfere on how relaxing and Quiet the Hotel was . Last of all a Special Big Thanks to Olga our Receptionist who always Greeted everyone with a smile and who always made time for a Chat when serving us with evening Drink absolutely a credit and face to the Hotel .

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed. The cleanliness of the hotel, pool, grounds was second to none. The breakfast was superb. Staff are so friendly. Location is perfect. You couldn’t be more central. So many restaurants and bars to go to. The outdoor cinema is less than a 10 minute walk and it’s a lovely experience! Highly recommend the Santellini!

Hotel Santellini was the last stop of our 2 1/2 week vacation in Greece and it did not disappoint! The hotel itself was very nice- Beds were comfortable, linens were soft and clean, and the rooms were decently sized, (bathrooms as in most foreign countries was on the small size but still nicely laid out) The daily breakfast buffet had a ton of choices.. breads, jams, bread (Nutella) eggs, yogurt, fresh juices and more... all of which certainly added some pounds to the waistline. There were several sitting areas both indoors and outdoors scattered around the pool A small pool bar provided drinks and small snacks. The owner and staff were all very pleasant and helpful, always asking if we needed anything. Very courteous. The location is great- a short walk (2 blocks) to the beach and to tons of restaurants, shops, bars, etc. There was no shortage of buying opportunities... everything from souvenirs, clothing, food products and more. Sightseeing was easily arranged and we had plenty of options. If you are looking for a clean, affordable, nicely furnished place to stay you should definitely take a look at Hotel Santellini
