Cavo Tagoo Santorini

Cavo Santorini jest niesamowite. Przyjechaliśmy na bardzo ciepłe powitanie, niekończące się widoki i specjalną niespodziankę z okazji 20-lecia naszej firmy dzięki uprzejmości hotelu GM. Nie będziesz rozczarowany, jeśli szukasz widoku zachodu słońca na kalderze. Hotel znajduje się około godziny do Firy i dwóch do Oia, jeśli idziesz. Hotel i pokoje są jednymi z najbardziej odosobnionych i prywatnych, jakie mogliśmy zobaczyć w Santo, a hotel jest bardzo elegancki! Obsługa była fantastyczna, a wliczone w cenę śniadanie było obfite. Główny basen jest wspaniały, a bar ze zbiornikiem na ryby, który świeci w nocy niesamowicie. Brakuje opcji na tradycyjne greckie jedzenie, ale jeśli lubisz grecką fuzję, powinno to trafić w sedno. Jedliśmy w hotelu kilka razy, a oferowane jedzenie było wspaniałe, choć nieco droższe niż w innych miejscach w Santo, ale to jest USP hotelu i powinieneś to zaakceptować podczas rezerwacji. Kierownik Manos jest Cavo i sprawił, że nasz pobyt był tak wyjątkowy, w tym zorganizowanie wycieczki po kuchni i obserwowanie, jak szef kuchni robi moje ulubione danie. Wynajęliśmy MyCavo podczas pobytu w hotelu i jest to absolutna konieczność - cały dzień jest najlepszy. Eleni i Constantine byli niesamowitymi gospodarzami. Ghera, restauracja, w której zatrzymaliśmy się na lunch, była miła, ale znowu bardziej po stronie fusion - poproś o tradycyjne jedzenie, a nie zawiedziesz się! Ogólnie Cavo było naprawdę niezapomnianym przeżyciem i nie zawiedziesz się, jeśli wybierzesz je na przerwę w Santo. Nie mogę się doczekać ponownej wizyty w przyszłości. Dziękujemy Manosowi i jego zespołowi za uczynienie naszej 20. rocznicy niezapomnianym przeżyciem!

This was our honeymoon trip. We stayed four nights in the diamond suite w pool. It was lovely. Beautiful view. We loved the large hot tub in the suite. The shower was awesome too. Our suite’s patio was amazing. When we booked, we told CavoTagoo it was our honeymoon but at arrival, no note in room or at the check-in welcome -no congratulations. Once we told them at check in, they did congratulate us. Much different at Bill & Coo in Mykonos, who gave us a nice note in our suite and at the reception check-in welcome. When we arrived at Santorini’s airport, we were greeted nicely and taken to CavoTagoo. There was water in the car for us but no cold towel or fruit bites like Bill & Coo in Mykonos. Once we arrived at CavoTagoo, we didn’t receive a welcome drink or light snack like at Bill & Coo in Mykonos, but CavoTagoo did offer a complimentary glass of champagne which we had to get at the bar. We thought this wasn’t as classy as if they would have brought it to us while we were checking in. With only 13 suites at CavoTagoo Santorini, we expected different. The view at CavoTagoo Santorini was AMAZING. I mean breathtaking. We didn’t want to leave the views! It’s gorgeous. The Bali beds at main pool is a must to watch the sunset w drinks. The restaurant was outstanding. We had lobster for two for two nights. One night we ate at the restaurant and once we had room service. It was delicious. Breakfast every morning was complimentary and truly lovely. It was delivered to our room and set up so nice. The absolute highlight of our stay at CavoTagoo Santorini was our 3 hour ($1000€) CavoTagoo yacht excursion. Transfer to & from is included in the excursion price. The driver, Kristoff, was great. During the drive to and from the marina, he told us a lot of interesting info about Santorini. The CavoTagoo yacht is beautiful. The captain’s assistant, Maria, and captain, Kiko, were professional and fun. It was a memory which we will never forget. A must do if you stay at CavoTagoo. Upon departure, we were given a nice straw beach bag to take home. Btw, the weather in Santorini during our stay October 16-20 was PERFECT!! Sunshine, warm, and crowds were light

We had planned the end of our Santorini journey with one of the best sunset views on the island: a table at Roka Santorini (reserved 1 month in advance) We read about it online but didn’t get into much detail….I’m happy of my ignorance because it lead to a series of pleasant surprises. First of all there is valet parking, which caught us off guard. Then we were seated, by a very polite hostess, at what could be described at one of the best tables in the entire restaurant, aside from the sun-beds by the infinity pool. This provides us with the perfect sunset experience (the reason why we came there) The waiter provides us with a couple or wet towels to clean our hands, handed us the menus and suggested we be served some water while we make up our minds. By the time she came back with the bottle or water we had already decided on the robata salmon teriakyi and my wife got the robata bream, both of them with a side order of steamed rice. The food came within 15 minutes or ordering but with the note that the plates would not be served at once, due to the time difference in the cooking process. Needless to say, both plates looked like they were prepared for royalty. The salmon was cooked to perfection, medium perfect I would say and the bream was tender and exquisitely filleted. Even the steamed rice was some of the best we ever had. After gorging down on our meals we decided to split a desert while the sun was still going down and got the dark chocolate matcha and ice cream which is essentially a lava cake with matcha filling. We couldn’t imagine that a desert containing matcha could be this delicious, but there you are. While the sun shined its last rays over Santorini, we asked for the check, told the valet to bring the car around and headed to the airport, ending our island experience in the best way possible.
