Extremely dissapointing experience with this hotel and its very rude, inflexible and arrogant management. I had to change our travel plans and booking as my elderly mother broke her back bone in an accident and could not travel as before. I immediately notified the hotel - 19 days in advance (!) - and kindly asked for a free cancelation (or even to postpone our booking) having my mom's medical certificate testifiyng of this unfortunate event. The management showed no understanding and no empathy at all. They rudely replied that: free cancelation is up to 21 days only; they did not care to see the medical certificate and even had the guts to tell me that I probably knew about my mother's condition before booking with them" and added an impolite "No." "We will not refund you!" (with an exclamation mark...). After this very unpleasant and unwelcoming written exchange, I no longer even felt like going there anymore - even if I could have. Moreover, I tried calling them to talk things over but they did not bother to reply or call back. I found their attitude to be all the opposite of a basic friendly customer service, and hence, would not recommend such a place (which is in addition in a remote location, away from main places of interest/sightseeing). They charged me the full amount of the booking without any remorse or compromise whatsoever, despite our exceptional and unforseen medical circumstances and advance notice.
