We were given our room at 8pm for starters and had to wait a long time. The floors in the room were disgusting and the overall job of the housekeeping staff was quite poor. We were left with no toilet paper on a daily basis and had to ask for it every day. The internet didn’t work for 3 days and nobody seemed to care. Housekeeping didn’t change the sheets on the bed unless we asked them too. Housekeeping kept taking our room keys and we had to get new ones every day. They do this so that you can’t use the air conditioning as you need to insert your room key to turn on the air conditioning. Very poor service in this hotel.

The hotel is quite dated. Which is fine for a 60€ hotel, but not for a 120€ hotel like this ! No socket close to the bed (from the time people didn't have mobile phones) old small TV not in front of bed, and the remote doesn't work anymore once you rotate the screen ...
But main issue was the level of service. I asked to use the facilities on the day of my departure and it got refused! Usually hotels accept that we continue using the facilities until our flight on the day of our departure, but they were telling me to book another night for that ... Happened to me only once before! Those guys don't seem to know the standards of the industry...

What I like about this hotel is in a very nice and safe neighborhood and is very quiet. Comfort beds and the room is big also all the employees are very nice always ready to help also they have a delicious breakfast.

All good the only problem are their magnetic cards that regardless not putting them close to the phone, some times they work sometimes they not and you need to take few times the elevators…..
And the elevators are not so fast … although there are 4 you need to call then separately

The front desk staff was not friendly or welcoming at all, I ended up checking out early to stay at another Meliá hotel. Diogo in the bar was extremely friendly however!
