the only good thing was it was close to where we needed to be in saugerties. too much $ for the area. should have had more amenities like breakfast. Coffee in dining area didn't work - clerk could not 'unlock' it to change filter. Towels really rough and one stained. Otherwise beds real comfy and cozy in room. Left an envelope w/handwritten 'tips' so I think they are on a learning curve.

Normally love staying here. The shower curtain in our room had a brown stain and was ripped in several places— bathroom needs updating. Bed was nice and comfortable but please change your shower curtain

Room was clean and no issues. No filters for coffee pot or coffee. Overall good service. Definitely needs updating in the decor.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for my four night, five day stay. The room had every amenity I could need, and the bed was very comfortable. Best of all, room service came each day with fresh towels and a change of anything I might have used in the room (ie coffee, soap.) Before reserving, I reviews that criticized this property for being old. Everything in the Hudson Valley is old. Despite its age, this property is well taken care of and the work ethic of the employees is incomparable. I will definitely stay there again.

I stayed here years ago and had a nice, newer room, so I had no problem booking again… but damn, did I regret it this time.
Upon checking in, room 217, our room had wallpaper peeling dramatically in several spots from apparent water damage, the AC unit was falling out of the wall, and there was a red stain on one of the pillow cases. There were holes in the wall behind the pillows from where the old headboard used to be, and there bathroom was not that clean. The room felt old, tattered, and not worth anywhere near the cost we paid.
The man at the front desk offered us a cleaner, better room, but no refund. We did not bother even staying the night, and drove home 2 hours, cutting short our trip.
I would not recommend staying here.

Very unclean. Old, outdated, ceiling had a significant water stain, paint peeling in the room, stains on furniture, moldy grout in bathroom, holes in walls. Gross carpet.
