Excellent hotel set in peaceful natural surroundings, fronted by the river. This hotel has a nice large pool and is a 5 minute walk into town where there's plenty of food options and opportunities to purchase snacks and drinks. There is an on-site restaurant that has many options and is very reasonably priced. Magnificent sunset views in the evening. The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too hard for them. I highly recommend this hotel if you are going to Chitwan. The beds are soft and very comfortable. The bathrooms are nice and the water is hot. Free bottle of water is also in your room.

The manager was very helpfull and nice to talk to. You can swim in a pool overlooking a river and jungle from where you can see some rhinos, crocodiles and sometimes even elephants and tigers. Awsome vibes and good food. Thank you for your hospitality!

The hotel has a nice pool, beautiful view of the river and it s just located in the middle of the nature so it s well located for any safari, hiking activities which the hotel offers too. The staff are very welcoming, smily and helpful. The building is just authentic and beautiful.

Awesome views around the area, staff is very friendly. Really too much to say about the place and what you can see with water, animals and green views. I would definitely visit the place if I get the chance again

A really good hotel with a very welcome swimming pool! Rooms are spacious and clean, efficient staff especially the resident guide, Santa, who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Some noise from building upgrade but usually kept to a minimum.

I stayed at the Hermitage after completing a 10 day Trek in the Annapurna Range and what a perfect way to finish my first visit to Nepal. Met by Santan, my guide for the weekend and he couldn’t have been more helpful. Beautiful setting, really comfortable accommodation and the food was varied and very tasty. As part of my visit Santan took me on a full day Walking safari to Chitwan National Park - he was so knowledgeable and great company - wish I had more time as I only really saw a fraction of this vast beautiful park.
