This countryside guest house offers unusual rooms in a picturesque garden, a 15-minute drive from the Eau d'Heure Lakes and the Virelles Nature Reserve. The Domaine de la Carrauterie is located between Beaumont and Chimay. There is a zen and relaxing atmosphere in the area. You will be able to reconnect with nature and yourself. All of the rooms and unusual accommodations at Domaine de la Carrauterie have a private bathroom. Breakfast is served in your room to continue your moment of cocooning. Nous sommes venus grâce à un Bongo et avons choisi la cabane perchée... Quelle agréable surprise ! Tout est cosy, cocooning, on avait tout simplement pas envie de partir... Être couché au chaud au lit en regardant les arbres et les oiseaux venir sur la terrasse est merveilleux. Un soin est apporté à chaque détail (plaids en plus, déco, petits chocolats, savons solides...) Il fait calme pour dormir et le ciel étoilé est magique. Machine a café et théière ainsi que mini-bar prévus. Nous avons soupé et déjeuné dans la cabane, produits de qualités et frais, c'était délicieux ! Nous avons pu faire de belles balades. Dans le salon commun, il y a jeux de société, prospectus balade et DVD. Une pause relaxante et nature. Juste un bémol pour la piscine qui sur le site est mentionnée ouverte jusqu'au premier novembre alors qu'en fait elle ferme en septembre. Nous n'avons donc pas pu en profiter ce qui aurait fait du bien après nos kilomètres de randonnée.
