I loved that the property was at the heart of everything with dining, shopping, and museums easily accessible with a short walk. It was great to walk down the street to grab Cuban food the first night and fancy popsicles the next day. I wish the area was a little bit more busy and populated at night, but that wasn't any fault of the hotel.
It was easy to get help from the staff, especially with snack purchases, though there wasn't anyone consistently stationed at the reception desk. I loved my room -- it was really spacious and the smart TV (which had Showtime for free!) angled nicely toward the bed -- but it was strange that I couldn't easily turn off all the lights from the bed. I had to get up and walk all the way to the door to turn off the lights completely. Needless to say, I stubbed my toe the first night. My fault but still!
I must admit that I was shocked when my feet were black from walking across the floor of the bedroom, but I honestly think a basic mopping would do the trick. Other than that, I was grateful for the blackout curtains and the lack of outside noise, especially since I could hear the heat/AC vent a bit at night since I'm a light sleeper.
I loved the bathroom -- it was also quite spacious, and it even had Bluetooth embedded in the mirror. I didn't get a chance to try it, but it was cool to have the tech built in. The shower had good pressure, and I was grateful that the hotel uses the big bottles of toiletries rather than all the small bottles!
