This is a really nice place to stay if you are visiting Savannakhet. It is very 'low-key', located in a quiet neighbourhood and very good value. We stay one night recently. The rooms (there are three) are air conditioned, spacious, very clean and very comfortable. All of them are en-suite. Niko is a very good host. Highly recommended.

We have stayed in the original Avalon Residence and Avalon Residence 2. We have stayed in the original Avalon Residence 2. We have paid 150.000 kip for our room 403. We have been directly on site without booking online and that is what we recommend to do to make substantial savings. The Wi-Fi was low and sometimes could disappear sporadically. All was seriously disrupted at the third morning, while breakfast was served on the terrace of the second floor for a large French bus on a tour. It was only for them that was normal, given that it was in buffet according to our discrete comments. We told us we would order our breakfast in the reception lobby a little later as we did in the previous two mornings. It was 9:00 when we went down and found there was nothing on the courtyard or even coffee. However, breakfast was served up to 10:00. We were told we could still order. We have two cups of very cold coffee, we felt we were a burden without any explanation given the barrier of the language. We legitimately asked for hot coffee and only a cup was brought. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable, and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. There was a climate of joke and discomfort that was regained on the ground by the young staff and we did not appreciate it. We also confirm that one or two small sanitary furniture have been subtilely used directly in our luggage. We always take pictures of our luggage before leaving for the day in all our trips. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Pilgrim’s Inn. The room was spacious and clean and a very reasonable price and the staff is exceptional. The linens and towels were very clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bonus for us was the location. Pilgrim’s Inn is located right on the Mekong River so you have a beautiful view. There is also a park next door for early morning walks or just to stretch your legs after a long drive. Then there is Pilgrim’s Kitchen…You don’t want to miss out on their delicious food and coffee. I highly recommend Pilgrim’s Inn!
