Hotel Vogue

Hotel Vogue is one of the most wonderful places in which I have stayed … Ever! After having left a disgusting, unstaffed and nonfunctional hotel a few blocks away, the owners and team at Hotel Vogue welcomed us with open arms! The owner escorted us to our individual bungalows, and I could NOT have been more pleased and relieved! These spaces are fully adorned with a “front porch” seating area (I’m from the Southern US, and we love our front porches) appliances, condiments, glassware, silverware, plush textured towels, perfect pillows and bedding, and the list goes on! The atmosphere is remarkable; lush foliage everywhere, with some of the most beautiful orchids I’ve ever seen. The pool area is breathtaking, with a wall-sized water feature AND handicapped accessibility! They have multiple seating areas for groups to visit, with the cabana near the pool being expertly furnished with chairs and tables, and numerous lounge chairs poolside. Hotel Vogue is directly across the narrow, cobblestoned street from the Sayulita festival plaza, with 100+ restaurants in walking distance. I live in Puerto Vallarta, and I’ve visited Sayulita many times. Most visits have been day trips, so this was a WONDERFUL stroke of great luck for me to actually stay overnight in this magical garden!! And again, the owners were so accommodating, assisting me with my immediate needs of shelter, peace and calm! I count Miss Mary as my newest friend, and I will visit Hotel Vogue as often as possible. This is not an exaggeration … although there is a vibrant and exciting world right outside of the front door, I stayed in my room more than normal, simply soaking up the peaceful and re-energizing mood of Hotel Vogue. I cannot speak more highly of this heavenly spot, right here on the Mexican Coast!

The Hotel Vogue is a charming, tranquil oasis right on the Sayultia center square. ( no hills or golf carts necessary!) All the action directly out the front door, but peaceful and calming inside. The property is a beautiful garden that features art pieces and is just absolutely gorgeous and private. The owners and manager are on site and lovely. And the owner’s dog, piñata, is the sweetest little door greeter! She was a highlight! They also have beach chairs and umbrellas to loan for the one block walk to the beach! And they are only half a block from the iguana tree. If get back to Sayulita, I will be here without a doubt!

Our stay at Hotel Vogue was perfect; I wouldn’t have changed one detail! Mary was very communicative before our arrival, and once in Sayulita the staff were super helpful and attentive and kind. We loved the relaxing pool, the cleanliness of the rooms, the surrounding nature of the hotel grounds — I could go on. This is a spot we’ll recommend to anyone who travels to Mexico!

This little gem of a place was a wonderful experience. The owner was a warm hearted person that chatted about the most interesting history and the great surroundings. The rooms were clean and the landscaping was perfect. I felt like we were staying in a jungle oasis - but the moment I would walk out the front door I was in the center of all the action. Outside is loud and fun, but the moment you walk back into the property, the sound disappears. The only sounds passing into my living room area were the chirping of birds. I slept great!

I had seen this property a few years ago and vowed that some day I would get back there and stay in those beautiful bungalows. This was the trip, and it was everything I had hoped for. Every detail inside and outside was immaculate, beautiful, and artfully designed. A true paradise. Owners Marvin and Mary are very gracíous and their dog piñata is a love. Hotel was great for proximity to all things in the centre of Sayulita. Given the Sayulita nightlife there is some noise but it was worth it for the proximity to the beach and restaurants. The staff (and spiny at a the dog) were all welcoming and accommodating. The hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas making a day at the beach that much more enjoyable. The rooms have lovely art and local details. The pool was great when we needed a break from the sand. If you’re looking for a local style hotel we’d recommend!

If you want to be in the center of the action this is the place. Right across from the plaza and a block from the beach. The eight suite hotel is extremely clean and well kept , owners reside on the property and the small staff is delightful. All suites are air conditioned and the beds are first rate. Salt water pool is secluded and refreshing after a day at the beach. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I have stayed at Hotel Vogue 3 times in 3 years and love it! The owners and staff are fantastic, the grounds are meticulously cared for, amenities are excellent, great location and very peaceful and tranquil in the bungalows even though there is sometimes activity going on outside and in the plaza across the street.
