Hotel The Designers DDP

I think the hotel is pretty good. It was clean, the stuff there was very gentil, the room was very good. Everything was quiet cause they don’t allow kids in this hotel, for honeymoon is a perfect destination. I would stay there again if I have the chance.

The toilet was really dirty and disgusting. This was how it looked when I checked in. I asked for a cleaning which was not too much to ask, but they said no. I finally succeeded to ask them come up to check on the situation and they agreed to change the room but their look was annoyed. I DO NOT SUGGEST this hotel with their service and cleaning standard. DISASTER.

Firstly, the first day of my trip, I was given a very smelly room when I checked in. I have booked a designer suit room at level 20 for 11 nights and a smelly room was assigned to me. The room is very pretty but the moment I went into the room, a very strong **** and rusty smell is there to welcome me. I immediately requested for a change of room and have a little argument about it with the staff. Afterward I was given a temporary room at level 18 for a night until the next designer room is available for me to check in the next day. The temporary room looks ok but the bedsheet and pillow case is obviously didn’t wash as stains are everywhere. I just make do with it as I’m very tired to change or argue any further with the staff. I only managed to change my final room after 5pm the next day which the normal check in time is 3pm. I have changed 3 rooms within 24hrs!! Secondly, the staffs there do not understand English and they have serious attitude problem. Eg: I called them to ask for tissue and toilet paper because the house keeper did not leave any in the room. When I repeated to them numerous times due to the language barrier, they finally understand! However, they ask me to go down to the reception to collect from them instead of them sending the items that I wanted to my room. I was confused initially that isn’t this is one of the service from the hotel, so why do I have to call and go down collect myself? And when I did went down, they ask me again what do I want and why do I need both, why can’t I just use one will do? Thirdly, their house cleaner is a theft. I left my pandora earring on the dressing table as the weather is too cold and I was only out for dinner only. I asked for house cleaning after I went out. But when I was back, I realize my earring was missing. I search the whole place and couldn’t find it at all. When I informed the reception during my checkout, they say it was impossible and must be I lost it and accused them for it, the staff even asked me so what do I want. Such irresponsible acts and no integrity, I will suggest travelers to find other hotels then this one.

Very nice location and staff, easy to access, but the light in the room are little too dark. It could be better.

Clean but not enough charger ports

The room is small yet tidy in overall. Some little spots were found. The bathroom area is not well designed that there is no separation between the bath area and toilet so water flew out a bit. Netflix was provided in the hotel television on request.

Was great and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great too, there a lot of food and subway is just nearby. So convenient to go anywhere. Will be back soon

The room was extremely tiny and not very clean. The service was nothing to Write home about and there were no toiletries in the rooms. Would not recommend

The location of the hotel is excellent, just a 3-minutes walk from DDP station exit 5
