Line Hotel Myeongdong

Location was superb... check in and check out was super fast ! Room was clean and had enough space... Walls are quite thin though so you can hear a lot of background noise...

This hotel has an excellent location, only three minutes away from the main shopping areas of Myeongdong. There are many restaurants near it. But even if you stay for multiple days, you will only be given bottled water once. It does not provide water dispensers on every floor, you can only get water in the lobby on the fifth floor.

The location is amazing, really close to lots of good restaurants!

Toilet water level is not good, always have a sheet of water on floor due to the water of water basin is not direct to drainage.

Our check in was in 26 March and we planned to go Busan on 24-26. We went to line hotel and request to place our luggages for 2 days since we will check in on 26th. Was told to pay a fee for it. First time I heard this - I never had such issues with other hotels in Korea, Taiwan, jap and so forth. This is first and of course we paid $24,000 won for it. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. There was no heater and I was told upon registration. The weather is too cold and without hotel is insane and so I learnt this on the first night. I was freezing in the room and had to wear sweater to sleep. After feedback to trip, hotel provided me a heater which I appreciated. Toliet very very basic and clogged up… took while for water to drain. Is a Very “memorable” stay. I rather pay more to enjoy the comfort and stay. Will not recommend. Spend your money elsewhere please.

Smelly bathroom/rooms. Not heating and then duvet (that was damp and smelled bad the entire time). Great location though!

The location is really good, right in the heart of Myeongdong and convenient for those travelling by subway. However, the rooms are really small, barely any room to walk after you bring in your suitcase. The bathroom smelled really bad which caused the entire room to stink. I think since there’s no windows, the water from the shower (which is not separate, so when you shower, the entire room gets wet) does not dry properly which causes a dank odour. The beds were also damp (no idea why) which made my PJs smelled bad too. Felt like I was getting bitten in my sleep too. Since I didn’t have a Korean sim or an app to call a taxi, I asked a staff member if she could please call a taxi for us and quoted us 21,000 won, which we paid. The taxi driver later told us it was only 8000 won. My friend called the hotel on my behalf to notify them something but they were also rude on the phone.

Location was great, price was affordable. If you do not mind just the basic amenities, this place is a great hotel to stay in ! :)

Excellent location. Elevator easy to use. Triple room was a good size. Heating in winter was warm. Free water, tea and coffee on lobby level. Towels changed daily.
