I was in a hurry to notice that I lost my credit card in Myeongdong, but the front desk kindly responded in Japanese. There was no illegal use and it was safe. Thank you very much. This hotel is close to Kushiro 3-ga Station, so it is a ５ book from Gimpo Airport on Line １ and it is compact but I like it because it is a room with a bathtub.

Because the location is Insa-dong, it is easy to get around by public transportation and car. The accommodation is cost-effective and quiet. I plan to visit again. For your information, parking facilities are limited for guests, but they are available for free and are on a first-come-first-served basis. It would be better without it. The surrounding Buda facilities are very good. Starting from the nearby restaurants, there are old palaces such as Gyeongbukgung, and it is easy to use both cultural life and shopping restaurants.

This hotel is perfectly located 2 minutes walk from Jongno3 samga station and about 6-7 minutes walk from Anguk. The service was great. The owner is very friendly and will be happy to chat with you and to give you some recommendations. The cleanliness could however be better. All in all, considering the price and location, it’s quite affordable and it’s a good deal. I’d book again.

Location is great and accessible. Counter service crew can communicated a little in English and if you are particular about a customer should enter/exit the lift first, over here, the service crew May sometimes forget about that and enter/exit first - I left my card in the hotel room and called for help but I don’t really care who entered the lift first. Nevertheless the service crew was polite and would strike conversation with you in the lift. Ask them what to eat, they’ll gladly recommend. I had nice raw beef (first time in my life I’m eating raw beef meat) thanks to the service crew. The room smelled heavily bleached when I entered. The sound proofing wasn’t good, I could hear the construction, the cleaner outside and sometimes the early preparation from the restaurant downstairs (I was on the tenth floor). The lights were very dimmed and it’s hard to put on make up for ladies. The cleaner would changed my bedsheet, towels and clean the room everyday as well. Foods are easy to find and are all around the corners. At around evening, there will even be a lot of ajuma’s and ajusi’s cart selling street food just downstairs. Transport wasn’t a problem at all. The location of this hotel is at the Center of Insadong, Changyeongung, Gyeongbokgung, Bukchon Hanok Village (and a lot more Hanok Villages), Myeongdong streets and a lot other tourist attraction. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with is location and service. Oh, and yes the bed was hard.

We placed 4 days. It has not bad. Some problem were. Such as slippers mangy, did not give teabag every day, also reception didnt order taxi go to hospital but he told us only airport taxi will order it was shocked us 😳, and so cold staying day. The location is convenient, near Jonggak Station Exit 12 There are Qiao Cun Fried Chicken, 31 Ice Cream, etc. nearby. The room is big enough to accommodate 4 large luggages and has space to move around. The only drawback is that the shower glass is not water-proof, so the entire bathroom floor will be filled with water.

First of all, I think that if you are used to staying at a student who wants to keep the price down even a little or staying at an inn in a country of color 々, you can spend it without any problems. I mainly didn't want to stay because of hygiene anxiety, so I booked another hotel after checking in and stayed there. The front desk was friendly and corresponded to Japanese, and the amenities were prepared, so I liked it. However, I wanted the minimum hygiene level as a hotel to be secured. The exterior is suspicious because the steel frame is bare The area around the hotel is not popular and there are many ruins The room is old and the lights are on. It's quite different from the photo The room smells of sewage Garbage is falling in the corridor There is a hole in the wall The ceiling is full of stains White liquid is scattered in the mirror Towels are frayed at the rag level Cro -I wonder if this room has not been cleaned in the last part where the towel that the previous guest seems to have hung on the hanger in the zette was left as it was. I thought, so I stayed at a different hotel. I hope you will consider it well.

The location of the hotel is walking distance to insadong street with lots of food and shops. You can also walk to the famous temple and wear the hanbok there. There were also bars nearby. The reception was under construction at the time of our visit but despite that, they have placed signages to guide their guests and they maintained cleanliness. The staff are also very accomodating.

We had an absolutely amazing time at. The rooms were spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. The only disappointing thing was that the pillows were very thick and firm. I would have liked softer ones. Other than that, I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back.

The transport guesthouse in the middle of Seoul is quiet and cozy, and the staff are friendly and my family visited their homeland stayed comfortably. It was a great luck to find a place where you can stay comfortably without any cost while looking for a suitable place to do Seoul City Tour. There were many restaurants around, so I could have a food dinner. It was great to have a friendly staff guide the restaurants around.

The young lady at the front desk of the hotel is super good, and the booking on Ctrip is also very fast. We searched for several hotels, but they were all booked and refunded, and the online and offline were inconsistent. This one was booked online, and an email was sent immediately, very much. Major security and food hygiene issues. Beware! Food hygiene issue: They provide bibimbap + other side dishes for breakfast. The alarming thing is their re-use of the side-dishes. When the breakfast was over and all other guests have left the dining area, the host casually put the unconsumed side dishes back into the larger pots where they are stored. The reason this is alarming is because the side dishes are shared among all the guests, and the sharing nature of the side dishes inevitably means that their saliva will also be shared. Not only is this gross to think about, but this will also potentially promote infectious diseases. Security issue: We stayed in a private guest room as a couple with our private bathroom. The locks were the old Korean style, with 2 sets of 4 sliding doors - one set on the outside, one set on the inside. The outer set of sliding doors have 2 screw-in locks which can be padlocked. The inner set of sliding doors only have screw-in locks. When leaving the room, I had the inner set of sliding doors shut, with one side of the door remaining locked. We were shocked to find that upon returning, both sides of the inner doors were unlocked and opened, indicating that someone had entered our room. No tampering of the padlock was evident, suggesting that this person had the proper keys to the padlock. What was more disturbing was that there was no good reason for anyone to have been there! No cleaning and no rearranging of amenities! We tried several times to contact the owner to no avail. We immediately packed and left after the first night. Value for Money: Quite expensive for what it is. But, if you want the experience of staying in an old-style traditional korean housing, there are several other such guesthouses. Location: Good location. Close to Anguk subway station, palaces and insadong, but far enough from the main road to not be affected by road noise. Cleanliness: Clean enough. Staff: Questionable business practice & work ethics. There is one elderly woman who appears to be helping to keep the guesthouse clean and to prepare meals. She only speaks Korean, and does so very loudly and abruptly. I am a Korean, and this does not bother me as I do have some idea about how some people speak, but my wife found this very confronting. Facilities: Minimal. Very small rooms with no furniture. But this is, after all, a part of the traditional Korean Hanok experience.

Hotel DM is een vrij nieuw hotel en dat zie je goed terug. Alles ziet er netjes uit. De kamers zijn klein maar modern en schoon. De medewerkers zijn erg aardig! Het hotel zelf is dus prima! Wij zaten er 1 nachtje als overbrugging voordat wij weer naar huis zouden gaan. Toch zou ik hem niet per se aanraden aan mensen die Seoul voor het eerst bezoeken om deze 2 redenen: 1. Locatie. En dit is meteen de belangrijkste. Ondanks de vrij centrale ligging, in de buurt van Dongdaemun met de DDP, is de buurt niet ideaal. Het is een wat ouder gedeelte van Seoul, je ziet vooral ouderen op straat en er zijn weinig hippe cafés en restaurants te vinden. Geen stijlvolle winkels, maar wel een tweedehands rommelmarkt op straat. Voor ons leuk om eens een andere kant van Seoul te zien, maar niet voor mensen die voor t eerst naar Korea komen. Eigenlijk heb je hier dan vrij weinig te zoeken. Ga dan naar Myeongdong, Hongdae, Itaewon, Insadong. 2. Kamers zijn erg klein. Ik had in mijn eentje een tweepersoonskamer, wat prima was! Maar ik kan me voorstellen dat het voor 2 personen erg krapjes is. Daarom is 1 of 2 nachtjes prima, maar meer niet. Kortom, op het hotel zelf is weinig aan te merken maar de buurt eromheen is niet ideaal. Daarom toch 4 sterren. Min 1 voor de locatie.

The hotel was simple but very clean and had everything you would need. You could control the ax and the lights with the tv remote which was really handy and the room had a big window which you could open to get some fresh air. To the next bus stop it was a 7 min walk and to the metro a 10 min walk so not the best but definitely manageable. There was a CU and even a bigger supermarket 2 min away from the hotel. The only negative was that even though it said it on the site there was no breakfast.
