This was our second visit (the 1st being 10 years ago), and both visits have been absolutely amazing. This is such a beautiful place to stay, with amazing staff and excellent food. The location itself is perfect, very close to the Orangutan sanctuary. We hired a grab car to get us to the Rainforest Discovery centre. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Sepilok, I'd highly recommend this hotel, there's something very special about this resort.

This is by far the best hotel in Sepilok and you can see why! The grounds are stunning and really well maintained. The rooms were the biggest, cleanest and comfiest out of all our stays in Borneo. The restaurant food was good especially the French toast for breakfast. The cocktails were even better. The hotel is in a great location for the Orangutan and Sun bear sanctuaries and only a 10 min walk from the RDC. The hotel staff are very friendly and hospitable even helping us book a last minute taxi to the airport when we couldn’t find a Grab. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Sepilok. We wish we had spent 2 nights here instead of 1 but the hotel books out quickly !

Staying here felt like a unique experience. We were here as part of 2 day tour to visit the nearby Sepilok Orangutan sanctuary as well as other attractions. This resort is conveniently located and has absolutely stunning elevated lodges set amongst thick forest and a mangrove landscape. A boardwalk provides an lovely access through the landscape, The lodges are spacious, without a TV and Wi-Fi, which wasn’t a problem for us on a 1 night stay. There is sone construction taking place to upgrade facilities with a swimming pool. However, The appeal of this resort is how it immerses you into the sights and sounds of the rainforest, which is something we won’t forget.

The resort is perfectly located. It is a 3 minute walk to the Sepilok Orangutan sanctuary which itself is just across the road from the Borneo sun bears. The rainforest walks are a longer easy 15 minute walk away. This all means you don’t need to pay lots of money for your guides if you don’t want to. The resort is peaceful yet had its own superb restataunt serving a wide range of drinks and cocktails. The lodges are large, clean, cool and have spotlessly clean bathrooms. All the staff speak good English friendly and helpful. All common areas are comfy and clean. They are building a pool which they hope to finish in the summer.

Great place to stay, beautiful cabin with bath and shower, easy to access safe. Main reception and eating area overlooks a lake with wonderful plants and vegetation. Staff always there to assist and it's the ideal place to stay because of it's close proximity to the orangutan and sun bears sanctuaries. Would definitely go back to Sepilok ❤️

I loved this hotel I spent two nights here to visit the orangutans, Sunbears and rainforest. This place literally backs onto the orangutan sanctuary and sunbear conservation centre and is literally a 5-10 min walk. I had lodge number 10 and loved it. Very tranquil, good facilities, you truly felt one with nature. The grounds are AMAZiNG! There are only a few hotels in the aarea. This one is bar far the best (from reviews I read and also speaking to other people while there). There isn’t much to do outside the hotel other than the above attractions mention and therefore I ate dinner and lunch every night here. Not the best meals I’ve had but were not the worst.

This hotel was fantastic setting and great for getting to the oranutangs and probiscus monkeys and Sun bears. We stayed here for four nights so we had plenty of time to do everything. The rooms are a good size and the bathrooms were very modern and clean. The breakfast was made to order and very good quality. We ate dinner in the hotel every night which was very good food and not over priced. They are extended the hotel and February and March would be noisy during the day as they are digging out a pool. We would definitely stay here again, wifi wasn’t very good in the room but i could just about get it, but very good in the main building.

A great base for exploring the area. Close to the orangutan and sun bear centre. Not far from the Rainforest Discovery centre. Large rooms in the chalets with all modern amenities. Comfy beds, good shower and air con. They serve a hearty breakfast and lovely evening dinner. It is all a la carte. Not a buffet in sight!! Also very good cocktails. Friendly and helpful staff. It was very quiet while we were there and we found it a peaceful retreat.

This was a great hotel for seeingthe orangutan’s , sun bears and Proboscis monkeys. The food in the hotel was good quality and reasonable. They are having a new part built where they are adding a pool. The WiFi was good in reception not so good in the rooms, although I found if I sat by the window I could get the WiFi. Tv reception was none existent but the jungle noises made up for that. The staff were really good and helpful. I will definitely go back here again.
