Le Grand Hotel

I fell walking up the stairs to enter the hotel for the first time and broke my wrist. The manager on duty disnnot react at all and was not helpful in any way. The hotel walls are very thin so all the noise carries and people stay out late in this area. Breakfast was very limited. Good location and nice room but the other favors made this an awful experience.

Great location in Sete. No complaints we have stayed many times before. Downside is probably the parking situation. Very difficult to stop in front of the hotel to check into the hotel. There are two garages belonging to the hotel. ( 19 euros per night). The garage we were allocated to was extremely tight, so it is advisable to let reception be aware if you have a large car.

What a nasty old smelly hotel! 3 stars for this dump ! What a joke! Upon arrival no parking,lobby tattooed girl clueless..unaware of the concept of customer service! Room dark hot smelly! Place is a total old ruin with cheap decoration that won’t hide all its cracks and wrinkles! On the top of it all they will try to charge you for a room that you refused to take..pityful!

Love this hotel. It’s right in the centre of town. The rooms are comfortable with excellent amenities.staff are delightful and I can’t think of a bad thing to say about it. Totally recommend it as it’s in perfect walking distance of everything

The Grand Hotel in Sète is a charming hotel with a stunning courtyard where you can have your breakfast. Our room, a superior with canal view, was clean and spacious. The bathroom had a tub and modern equipment. Only the loo was really tiny. The hotel is right in the centre of town, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Nearby there is also a private parking for guests for cars and bicycles. It is the best 3* I have ever been to.

the decor of this hotel is amazing as well as its location. The rooms are comfortable and have heating and A/C. The bathroom is spacious and functional. The view from the third floor is AMAZING. Checking was slightly difficult as the front desk clerk did not speak English. We managed through it and it did not detract to the stay. Just be ready to use your translation app. The breakfast was amazing. A simple but delicious continental breakfast consisting of croissants, baguette, pain au chocolate, cold cuts, and coffee. I was here on business but would love to return for a romantic weekend with my Wife.

Very nice and extremmely authentic hotel. Frindly staf. Close by parting (15 euro per hour) Very clean rooms, good wifi Very Very central In general Sete is a wonderful town, and beeing so central, you can easily enjoy it

We spent a week in this hotel staying in room 104 which is a superior room and has a view over the canal. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, the shower was really good and the aircon kept it cool despite a heatwave. Breakfast was nice with pastries, bread, fruit, cheese, ham and boiled eggs. We ate in the hotel restaurant twice, traditional French cooking at its best. You need to reserve a table before you stay as it’s only a small restaurant. We used the train to get around, the station is about 15 minutes’ walk. There is a fridge and a coffee making machine in the room. The hotel is beautiful, we loved staying there.

Au bord du canal au centre de Sète, l’immeuble d’époque est élégant de l’extérieur et magnifique à l’intérieur. Rénovation très réussie avec beaucoup de charme et d’élégance. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, excellente insonorisation extérieure. Très bonne literie, climatisation, salle de bain neuve superbe. Les supérieures avec vue sur le canal offrent une vue très agréable. Petit déjeuner dans un cadre magnifique avec de bons produits. Parking privé très utile. Restaurant de l’hôtel de bon niveau avec un Bib gourmand Michelin. Les trois étoiles sont largement dépassées. Le confort est celui d’un 4 étoiles même si certains services manquent pour ce classement. Nous reviendrons !
