Hotel Boutique Corral del Rey

We stayed at the Corral del Rey during Holy Week this year (2024) with our two sons, ages 17 and 20, one of whom is studying in Madrid this semester. This is a wonderful hotel in the old Barrio section of Sevilla - an excellent location to get to everything walking which was necessary during Holy Wee . Tiny streets! The hotel is in two old buildings across the street from each other which was no problem at all-and the hotel is creatively and beautifully designed and decorated. We were on one side of the street and our sons in the other. We had a larger tower style room with a sitting area and it was delightful. Very charming decor and luxuriously appointed. Our bathroom looked on the courtyard which was really cool taking a shower! Service was amazing, we received wine and olive oil in our rooms (which I think was something as part of booking online). Wonderful bed and linens. Housekeeping was EXCELLENT. Which is really important to me. The breakfast was lovely, lots of choices served in the dining room in one of the buildings, where reception is. Wonderful bread, granola and yogurt, and other options as well. The dining is also available all hours with a nice menu which is really handy, we arrived late the first night and they had dining ready for us. In the building we stayed there is a comfortable living room and honor bar. Altogether, you get so much personal service at this hotel. They were in constant communication with me before our arrival and stay to make sure they had everything lined up for us. One of the nicest things about the hotel was the availability of booking custom experiences and tours directly through the hotel. They will send you a complete list of suggestions of all types, and will arrange them for you. They arranged a terrific custom tour to Jerez and Cadiz for our family with a private guide which was wonderful. Just an altogether amazing hotel in a super beautiful and interesting city.

Small but very friendly hotel in a great area close to all the major sites. Reception team couldn’t have been more helpful. Rooms are characterful and cool, and some have balconies over the street so you get the vibes of the area which is great. Will definitely be back!

Corral del Ray was a charming hotel in the winding streets of the old section of Seville. It was very atmospheric with a rooftop area for lounging, eating and drinking. Our room was spacious with air conditioning. Breakfast was included and was extensive and delicious with homemade orange marmalade, which was the best I ever tasted. It tasted more of fruit and not of sugar. Eliza was particularly helpful at the hotel. She even printed up a google map to get us to where we wanted to go for lunch. She always spent extra time and made our stay special.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in the centre of town. The hotel and room had a great energy, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They would research and book activities complementary. The Flamenco show was a mesmerising experience! Great little rooftop area to sunbathe and take a dip in the plunge pool. The best city break we’ve ever had thanks to Seville being an incredible city and the hotel being top class!

Lovely hotel with the most friendly staff, has a wonderful traditional feel but with a modern twist. Beautiful decor. Roof terrace was wonderful - we didn't realise there was a plunge pool so sadly didn't have our swim wear. Lovely continental breakfast but it's the same every morning (you can pay extra for hot food). Bathrooms amazing and toiletries really good. Honesty bar with cake available in receptions and a coffee machine and kettle for tea with fresh milk in the fridge, in the rooms (also a small mini bar). Beds were lovely (pillows brilliant) bed a little hard but not too bad. No views from the windows, except small courtyard, as it's down a small narrow road but very central.

Comfortable, cute, and well kept – everything we needed. Laundry was expensive, but a cheap laundromat is literally a 1 minute walk away. Anthony (the owner I believe) was part of our event and he may be the purest and nicest man I've ever met. If I had it my way, I would involve him every time I went to Spain.

We stayed at the Corral del Rey and found it delightful. The service was excellent and Eliza was so charming and helpful, all the staff were great but she’s was very special. We will return as we have more sight seeing to complete and more of the delicious food to sample.A wonderful city and wonderful people.

Our stay at Corral del Rey was wonderful. The staff was very attentive--we especially loved Elisa and Laureano. They attended to every question and request: Where to eat, suggestions for sightseeing, hailing cabs, etc. Elisa even offered to call the Madrid and Seville airports as I had lost my driver's license and didn't know where I lost it. (Turns out a different tourist from Italy found my license on a nearby street and decided to mail it to me in the states---people in Seville are lovely)!! The continental breakfasts were still personalized and hand-delivered, relaxed, and very good. The staff noticed small touches (i.e. my husband liked lemon with his tea---and after his first request, lemons always magically appeared). The hotel itself is very beautiful, divided by a street, so there are actually two buildings where you could stay. We were upgraded to the patio suite which had a cool, bubbling pool and wonderful views. This place is indeed very special.

Ah ......what can one say about the divine Penthouse at Corral del Rey that would actually do justice to this stunning hideaway, Having been lucky enough to have spent two beautiful days and nights here we were really pampered and cherished and staying anywhere else on our Andalusian adventure had to work hard to measure up ! The area is made up a spacious suite of rooms including our own private terraza where we enjoyed a delightful breakfast in the early sunshine and each afternoon a slumbering rest after exploring Sevilla , a sweet little plunge pool to cool off in when the temperature rose and a magnificent bathroom where everything was giant size including the wonderful and powerful double shower , just bliss .... The bed was incredibly difficult to leave as was the whole suite and when our two days had flown by , we cold have happily moved in for the summer ! The area is perfect for strolling and has a plethora of delicious restaurants nearby , the staff are so sweet and charming and we feel as if they are friends forever now , if you stay you know that they would happily help with any requests or advice in a " nothing is too much trouble " way , We left feeling how lucky were we to have stayed in such a wonderful setting and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment, and would highly recommend to future travellers.
