Sweet Corner Masxali

Byliśmy tam 2 razy. Pierwszy raz mieliśmy kawę i sfakian pita: pita była gruba i miała dziwny smak. Drugi raz na lunch mieliśmy pieczone sery: zimne io tym samym dziwnym smaku. Wszystko było do przyjęcia, ale nie dobre.

Znakomity: taras, plaża na dole, życzliwość rodziny, która prowadzi biznes, lokalizacja, trochę oddalona od wioski (jest tam nowa droga, a także nowa łata na plażę). Jest to podstawowe zakwaterowanie (lata 80), duży pokój z aneksem kuchennym, łazienka nie jest nowa, ale czysta. Idealny dla turystów pieszych lub każdego, kto lubi mieszkać na zewnątrz, blisko plaży, spokój, ... marzenie dla mnie Dobry stosunek ceny do jakości. Dobre domowe kreteńskie jedzenie.

To miejsce jest naprawdę miłe. Właściciele wiedzą, czym jest kreteńska gościnność. Z dala od hałaśliwej wioski turystycznej Agia roumeli. Jedzenie jest przygotowywane po staremu, a widok na morze libijskie jest najlepszy… dzięki… poniżej można znaleźć łóżka morskie i kajaki za darmo. .

Idąc po raz pierwszy przez przypadek do tego pięknego miejsca, takiego jak Agia Roumeli, przypadkowo znalazłem to piękne zakwaterowanie, które przekonuje swoim położeniem, ale także zachowaniem jego właścicieli. Zapewniają one prywatną plażę, bezpłatne rowery wodne i kajaki. Jedzenie jest niesamowite, ich raki jest cudowne. Na pewno będę jeździł przez wiele lat

Wspaniałe powitanie, troskliwi właściciele, z sercem na rękach, towarzyszyli nam w 4×4 do wejścia do wąwozów, kiedy zobaczyli, jak wyjeżdżamy. Miejsce, w którym czas wydaje się stać w miejscu, z plażą i pontonem, na którym można się dobrze bawić nurkując. Typowa kuchnia, podobnie jak właściciele: hojna. Gorąco polecamy ten hotel.

Overall our stay was pleasant: the room was large enough, we saw the sea from our balcony, toilet was big enough not to feel cramped and we had a kitchenette with everything except a pan for Greek coffee (which we like). The staff was friendly, they picked us up from the harbor and drive us back when it was time to go. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and very tasty, both during the day and in the evening. The private beach they have was nice although the path there is a bit steep, so it may not need the best choice for the most frail. For everyone else it poses no challenge. There are free sunbeds and umbrellas (in varying condition) as well as some tables. They also have a canoe and a “water bike” so if you use those you could save tens of euros during your stay compared to other options. There is no service on the beach but I don’t see that as a bad thing, just something I wanted to mention to those who look for full service. But those probably go for all-inclusive places anyway. The bed was very good in Greek standards, and we’ve tried several dozen different ones over the years. The moussaka we had one evening was the best I’ve ever had. Truly home made in their own way, from fresh ingredients and cooked the same day. I’d walk there for that from the town center (which is 300m away). The location is one of the bonuses of this place: it’s “far away” from everything else so it is SO quiet there. I just loved that. One day we got to enjoy a pack of goats just outside the balcony. One big minus (for the whole town) comes from all the lights everywhere. This town is supposed to be one of the very few places with little light pollution and we were hoping to do some stargazing. Yes, you can see some stars but the lights everywhere just hides most of them. What an opportunity wasted. Note, this isn’t a fault of the hotel, it’s the street lights on the roads that spoil it all. It’s just that this one is away from the center so they would have a perfect chance to take advantage of that if the lights could be turned off after some time. So pluses: + quiet + beds + nice views + all you need under one roof (if you want) + moussaka (had to mention again) Minuses: - sunbeds/umbrellas in varying condition, not as nice as in places that charge for them. Still very usable - light pollution prevents you from enjoying the amazing skies (but this goes for the entire village) I would heartily recommend this place to anyone wishing to enjoy Agia Roumeli. It doesn’t prevent you from checking out other restaurants and sights and you won’t even notice the crowd coming out of Samaria gorge in the afternoon filling all places as they don’t come that far.

It was very very hot at the hotel outside due to its position and inside due to very old air conditioner. We were a family of five, the room was separated in two spaces but we all slept at the small room which had the air conditioner because the other was really hot.

A peaceful hotel owned by the sweetest family. Our room had a private balcony and gorgeous views of the sea. The property is approx 200 meters outside the small village with a private beach but the owners will pick you up at the ferry or at the exit from the Samaria gorge if you coordinate ahead of time. The property has sunbeds and umbrellas to use for free and sea kayaks and pedal boats to use for free. The family works very hard to accommodate us and are incrdibly kind. The hotel is small and they have a small family staff so things happen at a more casual pace which is relaxing. Fish may not be available every meal because the owner, George, is also the fisherman and he may not have a large catch that morning or the weather may prevent fishing but my advice is ask staff for recommendations for what to eat. Every time we asked staff for food recommendations, we had a delicious meal! We ate most meals at the hotel and only went into the village for a cocktail or to walk around. It is the perfect place to unplug, relax, and enjoy some beautiful views and peace.
