Maixinge Boutique Hotel (Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower)

Location is good, the hotel is located in metro line 14 that can go popular attractions easily.And also with Didi from downtown is not expensive. Service is really great and impressed, all staff always do their best to support you anytime, the room is clean and comfy, with the lovely fruit plate everyday that we stayed. The breakfast is also good, we really enjoyed our time with your hotel ❤️

Excellent location in Pudong 5 minute walk to metro Line 14 and convenience store below in case you come back very late. Service was very very good.

Very good experience with maixinge hotel. Upon arrival there are many people to help us carry the luggage (photo 1). Receptionist is good they provide water upon arrival and provide some local snacks while checking out (photo 2). We checkout mid night so we are unable to get a taste of the breakfast but they provide some yogurt and cupcake. Room is comfortable. Toothbrush will be provided upon request. Shampoo is very fragrant. Public transport is located opposite of the street which is somewhat convenient. If you’re taking cab they will just stop beside the road for you alight. Hotel staff is very accommodating and passionate. Takeout will be delivered to your doorstep if you write your room number on the description.

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful, room is tidy and clean, location is near to yuan sheng rd MRT station exit 4 , surrounding quiet convenience to get food , the hotel provides free laundry also it’s worth for the price.

Spent 2 nights in the hotel. Overall, the room is clean and comfortable, even thought the design of the room is slightly old. The staff is friendly and helpful, they provided great services. They do offer free laundry service. Breakfast included and they do provide a selection of food. Will recommend you to eat their Chinese breakfast. Location wise is good and close to metro station. There’s a convenience store next to the hotel, but the convenience store is slightly rundown.

Found this nice hotel on Trip. Very clean hotel, good location, all staff showed warm hospitality, 5 minutes walk to the metro stations. Will use Trip again for out next trips

Stayed here for just 1 night before leaving for the airport, and for the price per night ($60), this hotel blew us away. Their service was honestly better than the 5 star hotels we stayed at throughout our week here (Intercontinental Hangzhou + Pullman Zhouzhuang). When our Didi dropped us off a bit further down the street, 2 greeters AUTOMATICALLY walked all the way out to help with our bags. They brought us complimentary waters as we checked in, and helped carry our 3 suitcases all the way to our room. No other hotel on our trip ever offered this level of courtesy and service. The room is pretty standard: 2 beds with a small bathroom. But we were surprised by the complimentary fruit basket already in the room when we arrived. They also offer a perk I’ve never seen elsewhere: free laundry services. We gave our dirty laundry to an employee and they came back washed and dried the next morning (socks and be underwear excluded). I dont know if this is standard for all China hotels, but it saved us from a trip to the laundromat. The breakfast spread was pretty decent as well, but they ran out of fruits by 9am and never refilled them. No big deal for us. Tl;dr the level of service far exceeds the small cost of the room. I’d be happy to come back again.
