Xinhui Hotel

I stayed at Xinhui Hotel for a couple of nights. The location is fairly convenient, and the room itself was clean and comfortable enough for a short trip. That said, the price feels a bit high for what’s offered. There are no washing machines available, which was a little inconvenient — it would be great if the hotel could add a self-service laundry or at least recommend a nearby option. The staff (reception and housekeeping) were professional, but I wouldn’t describe them as warm or welcoming. A friendlier attitude would go a long way in making guests feel more at home. One thing that caught me off guard was the strict check-out policy. There’s no late check-out, not even a 30‑minute grace period. At exactly 2 PM, housekeeping knocked on the door — which felt a bit rushed. I’d suggest allowing a little flexibility, even just 15 minutes, to help guests pack up without stress. Overall, it’s an okay choice if you just need a bed and don’t mind the price. With some small improvements in service and amenities, it could be much better.

one of my favorite places to visit, Shanghai is beautiful.

Great location for a solo traveller. Comfortable bed and very clean room.

Great location for Westbund Art fair and the museums and galleries in the area. Short walk to 2 metro stations for easy access to Disney, downtown , airports and railway stations. Longhua Martyrs Park and the Longhua Temple. Shanghai Stadium and the Botanical Gardens also nearby. Restaurants , tea and coffee shops nearby. Quiet location as it’s a away from the main road. Polite and friendly staff. My room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Will definitely book again.

Hotel is a bit dated but clean. Location is convenient, walking distance to the subway station. Many eateries near the hotel.

Perfect price and quick check in, the only problem it’s quite cold in winter

Nice hotel
