Ta Ramada odświeżyła moje postrzeganie tej marki... Wszystkie logo to Ramada, w rezultacie pościel i ręczniki to stare rzeczy z jakiegoś nieznanego hotelu... Kolor zmienił się na szary, a według oględzin był używany przez ponad dwa lata. Gdzie wisi ręcznik? Ręcznik ma nadruk z logo innego hotelu. Ręcznik jest wyszczerbiony, podarty i szary. Podstawowy szacunek dla gości? Sterownik klimatyzatora jest również zepsuty i nikt nie może ustawić trybu... Ten hotel powinien istnieć od dawna… Przerażające jest to, że nie ma kontrolera przeciwblokującego, co naprawdę martwi się o bezpieczeństwo; Kanał ściekowy nie jest gładki, a woda na podłodze w łazience sięga do twoich stóp po spuszczeniu wody na chwilę. . . Ponadto ten hotel jest bardzo dobry! NIE! każdy inny! dźwięk! Ponieważ była prawie jedenasta wieczorem, kiedy przyjechałem do hotelu, położyłem się na łóżku i cały czas słyszałem miarowe chrapanie. Ten hotel naprawdę uwielbia przypomnienia i przypomnienia.Zaplanowany autobus wahadłowy jeszcze nie przyjechał, więc zacząłem dzwonić 40 minut wcześniej i dzwoniłem cztery razy. Convenient located near Shanghai Pudong Airport with free shuttle bus services to and from the airport (about 20 minute ride). Great for families with children as the hotel offers family rooms with various themes (Hello Kitty, Peppa Pig’s, Minions and the like) and a playroom free of charge. Also close to local restaurants, shops and convenience stores. Excellent service overall. Highly recommend for those who travel through Shanghai.

Chose this hotel because it was near to the airport (by direct distance). The actual shuttle bus ride takes about 15 to 20 minutes. We took the 4:30 am shuttle for our departing flight. The hotel is in an industrial area and not near any metro stations. We took the hotel shuttle to Pudong airport, then switch to the Maglev station or metro line 2 to go to downtown Shanghai. Do inform the hotel staff in advance when you want to use the shuttle service, because it doesn't operate round the clock during off-peak time. Service staff are polite and helpful. We arrived at 8:30 am and they quickly cleared 2 rooms for us so we can check in at 10:30 am to take a rest. Check-out was fast too, just left room cards at the lobby and they waved us off with smiling faces. There is a small shopping centre just across the street with many restaurants. One of them serves cheap and delicious food like 小笼包 (dumplings) and 生煎包 (fried buns). Slightly further away is a local supermarket where you can buy snacks as souvenir. If you're a foreigner and wants to contact the hotel, call them to ask for their WeChat number, then you can communicate further (e.g. arrange for airport pick up) via WeChat.

I ended up booking a room at the Ramada tonight for the first time because I flew into PVG, was thinking about leaving on another international flight tomorrow, but I didn't want to stay in the Dazhong (I also haven't actually stayed there myself, so perhaps my bias against it isn't fully justified). On the one hand, I'm certainly not wowed by the Ramada. On the other hand, it definitely lives up to the "peaceful neighborhood" billing that several others have afforded it. The location is astonishingly bad wrt subway access (i.e. no stations on within ~9 km). There is a mid-sized Lianhua across the street from the hotel. For 外卖, you're looking at McDs, KFC, Dominos, some random Chinese restaurants, and most of the usual suspect chained convenience stores. I happened to luck out on the airport shuttle front because I called just prior to booking the room, and one of the scheduled runs was minutes away. Otherwise, it is loosely scheduled service, and they want you to arrange it at least 2 hours in advance. I guess my ultimate conclusion (at this point in time) is that while I'm unable to offer a glowing endorsement, I'm hard pressed to think of any specific examples of properties that better suit the layover mission, for those that hope to escape the airport environment.

Very cheap for a hotel with modern facilities which include heated toilet seat and automatic flush! ☺️ Also it's near the airport so the hotel offers free shuttle service
