If you have a low budget but you still want to stay in the most touristic area, this is a good place for it. Very good location, near the Bund and full of restaurants around.
Don't expect luxury for this price in that area, but it is ok.

The shower smelled like pee that has been there for weeks and weeks. Since the room is minute and there is no way to actually seal the bathroom door(it slides on the side )it was terrible. The smell was just disgusting. I had to stay a day and came back late at night and left very early in the morning. But will never ever book this hotel again. The only good thing about it is that the location is great. Needless to say I didn’t shower for a :(

This hotel was one of the cheapest options during New Year’s Day period and I’ve realized why so seeing the poor amenities and hygienic conditions. And yet, I would like to give this hotel 3 stars max out of 5 thanks to lovely staffs and location, just right near Nanjing East Road with numerous meal and snack choices on the street. However, if it wasn’t for the cheap price, I would consider another hotel with better hygienic conditions overall.

The photo of the hotel looks much nicer than in real life. The hotel is old and it is located behind a school. Location itself, it is extremely strategic. The service is great but the room is definitely not sound proof. You will hear people putting glasses at the corridor in the middle of the night. If you are a deep sleeper, it is a decent place but for any light sleeper, maybe this will be the final experience.
