We stayed at the Aurora Hotel for a night in December and couldn’t have been happier with our experience - Cimu was extremely kind and welcoming, and she was just as warm as she appeared in the documentary we watched of her hotel before booking our stay. Upon arrival, Cimu provided us with a variety of traditional Tibetan clothing to wear for photos. She was extremely accommodating and patient in helping us choose our outfits. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, a perfect balance between traditional and modern architecture. The rooms were just as lovely and very comfortable - the heated floors and warm beds felt wonderful after a cold night outdoors, and the view of the sunrise and mountains from the windows in the attached tea room was breathtaking. Cimu’s natural talent for design and hospitality is evident in every detail, and we’ll definitely be returning the next time we visit Shangri-La!

Awesome experience at Renqing Cimu Resort (Aurora Hotel). Very warm hospitality by Cimu and family members, lovely dinner and aromatic coffee. Location was wonderful as we love the walk to Napahai area with horses grazing by the lake and mountain view :)

It's one of the best inns I've ever stayed. Cozy environment and great views. The owner was greatly generous and passionate. Plus you could try out the local traditional ethnic costumes for free. I couldn't think of one single reason why I won't visit here again. Highly recommend!

The experience staying at Renqing Cimu’s Court is incredible. We only wanted to stay away from crowd when we were looking for hotels in Shangri-La. We never expected to be able to find this jewel. It’s located about 20 minutes drive from the city, right at the edge of Napahai lake and grassland. We enjoyed amazing views of the grassland from our room’s tea patio. The hotel is equipped with all modern features without compromising on the precious traditional Tibetan styles and details. Everything was beautifully done. The horse riding activity near the Court was one of the most memorable experience we had on the whole Yunan trip - breathtaking sceneries and incredibly fun for my children. The most amazing was the owner - Renqing Cimu - a young Tibetan lady who is kind, warm, smart, passionate, strong and beautiful. Her family rallied around her to run the Court seamlessly. I unexpectedly found out that she was featured in a couple of documentary series which told stories about her journey from a young village girl to a visionary business owner. The stories are inspiring and heartwarming. I would recommend anyone reading this review to check out the series (Japanese Director Takeuchi Ryo‘s 2011 “Yangtze River: A Great Travelogue of Heaven and Earth” episode 1; and a follow up 2023 series “The Yangtze River” episode 2) I can’t recommend Renqing Cimu’s place enough. And I sincerely hope she continues on her impressive journey and realize all her dreams.

Hands down the best value hotel I've experienced in China. And what an experience it was. From the historical, immaculately maintained building to the spacious and carefully designed rooms, to the gracious and hospitable extended family running the hotel. Highly recommended for both seekers of calm and adventure!

The hotel is a gorgeous building in Tibetan style right by the lake. The family that runs the place is super supportive and approachable. The yak hot pot at the hotel restaurant is generous and accompanied by lots of veggies. The dinning room itself is a cozy place with lots of carved wood and a majestic trunk of a tree at the middle.

超棒超滿意的民宿！此次雲南之行入住的最好的民宿。茨姆一家人和工作人員都超級nice，民宿又好看又舒適，本來擔心會冷，結果地暖超暖和。民宿還可以免費粧造和服飾，出門走幾步就可以到海邊跟小羊拍照。晚餐早餐也很好吃，離店時還送了伴手禮。可惜行程原因衹住了一晚就要匆匆趕路，不然真的想多住幾天。

很感謝茨姆的接待，安排了車去古城那邊接我們，很晚了還專門等我們，還關心我們餓不餓，雖然吃了晚飯還是給準備了酥油茶青稞餅和酸奶，地暖很暖和，有加濕器，我們那邊窗户超級大可以看到外面，很愜意，很真實的鄰里生活 早餐茨姆的先生幫忙一起準備了很多早飯，吃的飽飽的，還喝了新鮮的牛奶，早飯做的很好吃😋 茨姆特別忙他們晚飯是10點才吃上，中途一直沒停下來過，跑來跑去有時去一樓幫媽媽搬東西，走來走去，瘦瘦的但是能量很大。 事無鉅細的都在親自做，走的時候也送上了禮物，太好吃了，我又買了點寄給家裡。 走的時候是茨姆的先生送我們，他説一開始茨姆説想做自己的民宿酒店他們一家人就都是支持的，他説孩子們騎馬騎的很好，也覺得小孩住校有點可憐，他們守着帕納海和自己的家感覺過得很幸福～ 我們形成匆匆衹住了一晚，沒有時間和茨姆坐下來聊聊天有點遺憾，不過忙是好事，有緣還會再見面，早上去帕納海附近散步，他們早早安排好車送我們，非常熱情，非常周到～ 最後一句：茨姆的妹妹好可愛呀乖乖的
