Grange Bank House

Another great stay at probably the best guest house anywhere, let alone the Isle of Wight. Warren and Pete are great hosts. They certainly put a lot of effort into making every guest feel welcome and valued. I doubt that you would find this level of hospitality anywhere else. Thank you both (again).

As a solo traveller it can be daunting walking in somewhere that you don`t know but l needn`t have worried. Best welcome ever from Pete and Warren. My room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous. Maggie, (the pooch) was lovely too. Highly recommend a visit.. xx

Where do we start it’s like going home, eight of us four couples visit every year for the scooter rally from the moment we arrive until the moment we leave it’s like home from home. The rooms are spotless, the attention to detail water in the fridge to the treat at bedtime. The honestly bar is wonderful. The lovely Maggie, the breakfast is cooked to order. Nothing is too much trouble for Peter and Warren there is no better place in Shanklin to stay. Thank you for being the perfect hosts as always see you next year if not before

Another great stay at this wonderful guest house. Pete and Warren are exceptional hosts. Nothing is to much trouble. The attention to detail is second to none. They really make you feel at home, along with the lovely Maggie. Lovely rooms and a fantastic choice of breakfast superbly cooked. Thanks again guys for a wonderful stay.

Our first trip to the Isle of Wight and our friends recommendation to this lovely B & B was perfect. Warren & Pete were the perfect hosts and little Maggie was lovely. We had a superior room which was bright & airy and very comfortable. Great finishing touches with tea, coffee, biscuits & sweets. Nice touch having chocolates left hanging on the door nightly. Breakfast was great with a good choice, service quick & always with a smile. We didn't use the honesty bar but it was a good idea for anyone that fancied a nightcap. The offer of letting us bring a takeaway back was a nice gesture which we may have done if we'd stayed more days. The location was perfect with plenty of eating places around, we had no issues with the parking and it was so easy to get around. We stayed for 4 nights but wish it had been longer. Thank you both for a lovely time, we will definitely return & recommend. Annie & Dave x

We came back last week after spending 3 nights at this lovely guest house. The location is perfect being just minutes from Shanklin high street and all the lovely places to eat. Warren and Pete are wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough for us. The house is immaculate and our room and bed was so comfortable and clean with lots of lovely touches. Breakfast was delicious too. Would highly recommend Grange Bank House.

Grange Bank House is such a wonderful place to stay we can’t imagine staying anywhere else on the Island. Pete and Warren (and gorgeous Maggie) are the most amazing hosts and fantastic company. The guest house is immaculate and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast is always outstanding with a great variety of choices. Nothing is too much trouble. It’s a perfect base for visiting the whole island, which is one of our favourite holiday destinations. We can’t thank Pete and Warren enough for making us so welcome and being such special friends.

My husband John & I found Grange Bank House (Peter & Warren) to be warm & welcoming the minute we stepped through the door. We had previously had a great recommendation from a friend who stayed last year and we were not disappointed. The house was kept immaculately clean & comfortable, breakfasts were to die for and our two dogs were made very welcome, plus lots of good humour at breakfast time. The lounge was open for all residents & dogs, with a small honesty bar for residents to list their drinks so they could pay at the end of their stay. Our bedroom was comfortable and clean with an attached smaller room to accommodate our dogs. We could always rely on daily cleaning and tidying. There were lots of little treats for guests, including sweets in the room and a dish of chocolates left hanging on our door handle every evening (what a lovely touch). We felt completely spoiled & relaxed and would highly recommend Grange Bank House.
