Naama Bay Hotel & Resort

We were given a room upgrade when we booked in so great start. The room was on the 5th floor with a pool and sea view and had 2 small double beds, a sofa bed and plenty of wardrobe space. There was a reasonable size balcony with table and 2 chairs. The air con worked well as did the wifi. The beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Obviously it is an older hotel so the room decor is a little dated but well cleaned. Our cleaner was excellent and friendly. There are 3 pools to choose from, one large with slides. The beach is a short walk away and has plenty of sun beds, seating, a bar and snacks. If you have walking difficulties the hotel will drive you down in a golf cart. It’s probably best to go early to secure a sun bed. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and there is entertainment every night at the roof bar. Ali runs a small beauty salon in the hotel and I had a manicure and nails painted for a good price. The food is average but as we spoke to different people from 13 different countries it’s obvious that the hotel can’t please everyone all the time. If you fancy a change there are lots of reasonably priced restaurants in Naama bay. Being centrally placed in Naama Bay you are close to the shops and the beach and promenade. People will try to get you into their shops but it’s generally good humoured. If you want souvenirs there is an arcade next to Macdonalds with fixed prices and no hassle. La is Arabic for no, and a downward cut with the hand emphasises it. There are plenty of trips from Sharm that are worth doing and can be booked in town. If you want a quieter beach walk a little further along the promenade to the Kanabesh beach where you can pay for sun beds and towels (reasonable). The food at their beach bar is excellent - great pizzas. All things considered we had an excellent and relaxing holiday and would happily stay at the hotel again. The staff and brilliant and can’t do enough for you. We both had birthdays during the week and were given cakes. We also had a complimentary meal at the Boharat Restaurant- superb. The customer relations lady checked with people every day to see that they were happy or had problems.

Let's start by saying it's not a 5-star, but it's acceptable. I would rate it lower because the food is repetitive, the main restaurant is in poor condition and not suitable for Western Europeans. However, the Boharat restaurant is excellent and definitely worth a visit. The rooms are spacious but cleanliness is lacking. The animation team only caters to Russians, David is the only person who is friendly and engaging. For activities, Banderas is the go-to person with a great package available. The beach recreation team is very friendly and easy to approach, and they definitely enhanced our stay. We chose this hotel primarily because it is in the town center, but if you don't mind staying a bit further, I would recommend selecting another hotel. I will definitely return to Sharm in the future, but not to this particular hotel.

Good experience overall, good food (although seems repetitive), good entertainment Really like that no rooms face the big AC fans at the back. Had a sea view with mine on the 5th floor, which was great Cleanliness could do with improving( floors in particular) Staff are very pleasant Tips help :) No tummy issues on this trip

We are here now, may 2024, and enjoy the Sea and Hotel services. The location is perfectly, with the best sandy beach, just 5 Min. I want to mention staff and team, they are friendly, usefull and create New activities every day, in the Hotel and on the beach to - Yoga, dances, plays.

This is one of the best trips we had. We really enjoyed our stay so much. I would recommend the club room category. It has a beautiful view. The staff is amazing starting from the managers to the housekeepers. Mr. Amr, the current manager is amazing and knows how to deal with his guests. The food and beverages manager as well, he is also Amr :) Sanad, our housekeeper has been pampering us all the trip and keen on our satisfaction. We loved the slide in the water park and we really enjoyed it. The animation team is lovely as well and very friendly. Thank you Naama bay hotel and resort for a great experience.

The Hotel is located in the center of the city which is very comfortable for walking a lot. The food in Naa Bay hotel is perfect. For every person. The animation teams keeps people busy and fun all day long. They are very kind sociable and attentive. Thank You Naama Bay. We are here for the second time and we will come back for the third.
