No WiFi provision (anywhere - not in the room nor public area), despite indication of providing free WiFi. When questioned, the receptionist - happily and proudly - explained that the problem was that I had no Mainland mobile number (so the problem lies with the guests, and the hotel has no obligation to honour its publicised facilities available). Serious attitude problem with the staff, in my opinion!
From later experience, all the hotels that require a Mainland mobile number to access WiFi will help guests to connect to WiFi by logging in with their own local mobile numbers to obtain the OTP for activation of the WiFi connection.
