There was confusion with another similar name hotel, Grand Skylight Garden Hotel. But we found the reception service good, checkin was fast and we like the room allocated to us (clean, tidy, good space for a couple and non-smoking).
We did not make use of the facilities as we have other plans - to visit Huaqiangbei, enjoy the food and also visit Dafen Oil Village.
We like the proximity for eating places and shopping so it was convenient. Food nearby was readily available.
We would like to visit Shenzhen again, probably in the summer and spend more leisurely pace to enjoy the place. Most likely we would book Grand Skylight Hotel as we find good value.

Location is overwhelmingly great. Whichever public transportation is just near door. But I don’t like the elevators are not just for hotel. Some of offices are at the some building. Some renovations are underway but the noise is acceptable. The very bad thing is that the noise of music and advertisements came from the shopping mall nearby is frustrated.
Overall it deserves what I paid.

Must let the hotel be like before good and clean ,now it’s dusty you can see and smell in the rooms and floors ,even when you enter ,it was better before
