Samloem Laguna Resort

UNIKAĆ. Wow. To moja pierwsza zła recenzja. Podróżuję po całym świecie od 1996 roku i nigdy nie miałem tak złych doświadczeń. Miałem zostać odebrany z przystani promowej, ale ze względu na burzę poprzedniego wieczoru powinnam otrzymać informację, jak dotrzeć do innego przystani. Niestety nigdy nie wysłano mi takiej informacji. Z ciężkim bagażem kazano mi iść 1,5 godziny do ośrodka. Postawa recepcjonistki w Lagunie była taka: „nie mój problem”. To był bardzo trudny spacer (a dużo podróżowałem z plecakiem, w tym miesiąc na Szlaku Appalachów) przez jeżyny i wymagała wspinaczki po przegrodach kurortu. W pewnym momencie musiałem przejść przez małe ujście rzeki, gdzie nie było mostu. Na szczęście właśnie wtedy spotkałem dwóch innych gości Laguny, którzy pokazali mi ścieżkę przez las, aby uniknąć przechodzenia przez wodę. Młody człowiek pomaga z jedną z moich toreb. Zapytałem ich, czy Laguna przynajmniej jest ładna. Śmiali się serdecznie i powiedzieli stanowcze „nie”. Kiedy przyjechałem, pokazałem Lagunie wszystkie wiadomości, w tym wiadomości spamowe i usunięte, aby pokazać, że nie otrzymałem od nich żadnej wiadomości. Zapytałem, co mogą dla mnie zrobić. Powiedzieli, że mogą mi dać tylko 10% zniżki na jedzenie i zajęcia (chociaż powiedziano mi, że z powodu burzy nie ma żadnych zajęć) lub mogą przenieść mnie do willi na drugą noc. Powiedzieli, że jedyną inną opcją jest anulowanie moich opłaconych z góry dwóch nocy (ale nadal będę musiał zapłacić) i mogę znaleźć inne miejsce. Nie mogłem uwierzyć, jak cholernie niegrzeczni byli. Ale zapłaciłem z góry, powrót był trudny, a słońce już zachodziło. Wracałem do zdrowia po zatruciu pokarmowym i jedyne, co mogłem znieść, to chleb, makaron i banany. Zrobili mi talerz makaronu z oliwą z oliwek i próbowali obciążyć mnie kwotą 4,50 USD, bez 10% zniżki. Kłóciłem się, więc obciążyli mnie 4 USD i zniżką. Czy ty żartujesz? Przez resztę mojego pobytu recepcjonista Alex i właściciel Indrek byli po prostu niegrzeczni. Woda pod prysznicem była lodowata. W ośrodku nie było plaży. Personel kuchni naśmiewał się ze mnie, że mam zatrucie pokarmowe. Mógłbym kontynuować. Poprosiłem o łódź, aby wrócić na prom po opłaceniu z góry dwóch nocy. Powiedziano mi, żebym był przygotowany do chodzenia i że nikt nie udzieli mi pomocy. (Mam 170 cm wzrostu i ważę około 55 funtów.) Wszystko to za 49 USD za noc. Na szczęście Niemiec, który przebywa tam na dłużej, kupił dla mnie łódź tego ranka. Powiedział mi, że jeśli łódź nie będzie dostępna, odprowadzi mnie z powrotem i pomoże z torbami. Unikaj tego miejsca za wszelką cenę.

Great foreign service staff. Good and cordial a**osphere. I liked it . Rooms could be improved. Heat and no aircon

The hotel is far from main areas of Saracen Bay, and the hotel charges per boat ride even tho other hotels that are closer to piers provide the service for free. The hotel itself is decent enough, the only thing that really bothered me was the stained sheets found on arrival, luckily i just stayed for one night. Staff is kind.

We really liked our room But the Location is not Easy to reach so we decided to be Home before sunset 6.30pm just to be safe. You could Walk with a flashlight from your Phone But the pass is rocky and there are Wooden bridges to pass. The room was lovely thow and even if only fab it was enough for the price you pay. Did not have Breakfast included since we booked with trip so can not judge That.

I hope you have the water kettle and Aircon. But all in All it's excellent!

servicio excelente, a veces un poco lento, buen desyuno, las instalaciones perfectas para relaj****, alejados de todo, la instalación podría aprovechar más sus espacios comunes y frente al mar, tal vez hamacas, sillones playeros, columpios que no obliguen a estar siempre bajo techo, la naturaleza alrededor invita a la paz, si quieres fiesta no es el lugar, si quieres relajación, definitivamente sí.

I spent four days at Laguna in May. It is the perfect place to relax and disconnect. The resort is surrounded by nature. I stayed in one of the bungalows. The room was clean, modern and had all of the amenities I expected. The restaurant area is wonderful, with very reasonable prices. It is lovely and open so you can watch the sunset over the island of an evening. The hotel offers pool (billiards), board games and boat trips around the island. However, the best thing about Laguna is the staff. Michael the Manager and Neal the bar tender are warm, friendly and work hard to make your stay the best it can possibly be. My friend and I are vegetarian so they gave us some additional off menu options. I would highly recommend a stay at Laguna.

The hotel and the restaurant are quiet and the layout is super nice, moreover the restaurant is one of the best on the island and the prices are very good compared to other establishments! 😍 Everything is done to ensure that the stay goes smoothly. Managers and teams are very nice, efficient, responsive to the slightest request. The rooms are modern, well equipped and very clean! If you are a little bored, the hotel offers different activities such as tennis, pool (billiards), different board games, horse riding (yes yes, there are three magnificent horses), boat trips, visit to the island… 👍 I can only recommend this establishment. In the evening you can enjoy a magnificent sunset and the bar with delicious cocktails‚ there are also pool evenings which are extremely nice and we also loved the pizza evening because it was simply delicious! 🤤 Koh Rong Samloem is an incredible island so if you decide to go there, put down your suitcases or your backpacks at Samloem Laguna Resort without hesitation! 🤗

Booked a twin room for my son and I for 2 nights, paid up front on *********** The morning we were heading to the port to go to the island the hotel messaged me to say they would not check us in because they would not accept the proce on *********** This ruined our vacation and plunged us into a terrible situation of having to find another hotel. I now am out of pocked and need to get a refund some how. I have never been treated this way before by a hotel.
