Outstanding hotel with a very elevated sense of hospitality. In the US you would not get anything remotely comparable for the price, especially in a popular tourist destination such as Sils. It was truly impeccable. The wellness amenities, which included two different types of sauna treatments and massage, were a real plus.

Switzerland provides the location but the people at this hotel provide the unique experience. Strong Leadership and great service are everywhere. I did NOT want to leave this time and will be back soon and for longer. Thank you to the Edelweiss people!!

St Moritz area has numerous resorts and glad chose Sils Maria. It has that Swiss alpine village air. The hotel sure is 4* and offers comfort and service accordingly. Breakfast is complete with scrambled eggs and bacon and not sure if other hot options can be ordered. Ate dinner at their sister hotel next door and enjoyed the fondue. Hotel is a 15 minute drive from the St Moritz train station and the complementary hotel transfers were a welcome inclusion.

The Edelweiss, located in the heart of Sils Maria and, so to speak, on the walking tracks, has been fully renovated yet has kept a traditional, local feeling. The room was very comfortable with high-quality, soft lines, robe, etc. Contemporary bathroom. Most remarkable were the people at the reception/concierge desk providing a warm a very customer-centered welcome (“this is your hotel, your place”) and help (with bike rental, hikes, etc.). P

Great location at the middle of the town. Very short walk to the bus and a short drive to the ski lifts. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, rich breakfast and four to five course dinner (at reasonable price) made by an awarded Chef. Overall stay was really nice and we would return here for sure.

Hotel Edelweiss and its restaurant absolutely superb. A tremendous value. Our room with balcony was impeccable. When I had to miss dinner because of a business call the dining staff went out of their way to bring my dinner to my room without anyone’s request. Jimmy the pianist in the lounge was wonderful. The bar tenders were masters at delicious martinis and the executive chef and his staff was just fantastic. We could not have been happier here and will always stay here when visiting here.

The spa is downright false advertising. The hotel website has a whole page about the spa, featuring various steam rooms, etc, and saying the wellness area is open starting 8 in the morning. The reality is that all wellness facilities remained closed in the morning with the exception of a lukewarm bathtub sized whirlpool even after we complained to the hotel manager. Given that we picked this hotel because of the spa this was quite a turnoff. The room and the hotel bar were all right.

Très bon séjour dans merveilleux hôtel plein de charme et d’Histoire. Seul bémol: la salle de bains est petite sans une place pour poser nos affaires et une seule tringle pour 4 serviettes!! Autrement tout bien.

Das Zimmer war schön und gemütlöich. Nächstes Mal bevorzuge ich ein Zimmer mit Sicht Richtung Waldhaus oder bzw. und einen Balkon falls vorhanden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders schätze ich die Zeitungen, welche morgens aufliegen. Eine kleine Kritik gebührt der Küche: Beim Hauptgericht fehlte manchmal etwas Sauce. Das Fleich war dann leider ein bisschen trocken. Zudem ist mir (uns) aufgefallen, dass morgens stets dieselben Käsesorten auf der Platte liegen. Gerne hätte ich (wir) etwas mehr Abwechslung geschätzt. Da ich auch fast Vegetarierin bin, lege ich auf feinen Käse besonderen Wert. Nochmals vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft und......bis zum nächsten Mal.
