Can Serrete

Very nice small hotel, very close to centre of Sineu. Room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Breakfast excellent, nice variety from day to day. Main plus was the staff, 2 young girls who were so welcoming, friendly and helpful with local information. Recommended.

We arrived at almost midnight and Guillermo was there to check us in and provide a very welcome beer! We were in a ground floor room with a window on to the street, even though the next day was market day and the street busier than normal we didn't hear a thing. As other reviewers have said the breakfast was amazing, far too much for us which was a shame as it just got wasted. Perhaps it would be an idea to provide a menu of what is provided and guests could say if there is anything they don't wish to have? When we arrived we parked directly opposite the hotel which is fine, on another occasion we parked on the same street but next block which did have some very faded dotted yellow lines but we didn't notice them and assumed that as is was only about 20m from where we had parked previously it was OK - wrong!!! When we went out again a bit later our hire car had been clamped and had various papers stuck to the windows, all in Spanish of course but we got the idea. We went straight back in to Guillermo who called the local policeman and accompanied us to the police station (about 100m up the road) to pay the 40 Euro fine and the car was released immediately. This was far far better than we were expecting when we saw the clamp and we were extremely grateful. So be warned only park in the street directly opposite the hotel!!!! The only thing that prevents me giving 5* is the bathroom, on two occasions there was no hot water and the overhead rainfall shower is directed such that it was extremely difficult to have a shower without washing my hair and manage not to flood the bathroom. Should we ever visit Mallorca again we would return to Sineu and Can Serrete.

I can only confirm what most reviews state: great welcome and service by Guillermo making you feel at home. Really good value for money. Special kudos for the breakfast in the patio. Thank you Guillermo!

Lovely little hotel in a good location. The service was excellent

We have been more than satisfied with lovely accommodation. The host is very attentive and took very good care of. The breakfast was super tasty with a lot of variations. The rooms are extra clean and cozy. The location is also great because you can walk into the center within 2 minutes. There is also a free parking lot nearby the hotel. We can warmly recommend the accommodation and had a great time at Can Serette. We had more than we could wish for our stay. Many thanks to Guillermo Anna & Jan

L'hotel si trova in una posizione strategica, in quanto la cittadina di Sineu si trova proprio nel centro dell'isola di Maiorca e questo ci ha permesso di visitare tutta l’isola in lungo e in largo. La camera e il bagno sono spaziosi e pulitissimi. La colazione non è a buffet, ma è davvero molto ricca, il proprietario continua a portare piccoli piattini con pane, burro, marmellata, miele, torte fatte in casa, salumi, formaggi, uova, bacon, yogurt, frutta, ecc... Ma la vera chicca di questo hotel è Guglielmo: gentilissimo, simpaticissimo, offre un sacco di consigli per visitare l'isola e le sue spiagge ed è sempre disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta.

Nous avons eu froid , la propreté laisse à désirer et les petits déjeuners sont très très Light! Pas de buffet pour se servir , quelques fruits , des morceaux de cakes industriels …. Le premier matin ils avaient oublié que nous étions là , ils ont fait avec ce qui restait … Nous n’avons vu personne à l’accueil de toute la semaine , par contre la personne du petit dej était très sympa et faisait de son mieux ! La bouilloire dans la chambre remplit d’eau croupie !
