During my stay at Lanson Place Winsland in Singapore, I encountered a mix of experiences that shaped my overall impression. We booked a fairly large 60+ sqm apartment. One of the first things I noticed upon arrival was a strong mold smell that permeated the apartment. This was quite overpowering and detracted from the initial experience. The accommodation itself was spacious, featuring amenities as promised. The gym was also quite nice, with new equipment and pretty much always empty. Unfortunately, the dryer was non-operational, which posed a significant inconvenience. Despite attempts to air-dry our clothes within the apartment for over 24 hours, they remained damp / wet. The reception staff kindly directed us to a laundrette with drying facilities, which was helpful, but it didn’t fully mitigate the inconvenience. While the staff’s responsiveness was appreciated, the overall experience fell short of expectations for the price. Given these challenges, particularly the issue with the mold smell, I find it difficult to recommend this option. I hope the management takes this feedback constructively and works towards improving these aspects for a better guest experience in the future.
