Have stayed a few times but always at the executive room. Have always wanted to try the grand deluxe and finally got the chance!
Enjoyed the grand deluxe room as well, but somehow dont find that it is better than the executive, apart from the view. The afternoon sun shines directly into the room which is great as it brightens up the room. We suspect this also cause the glass window to expand? As there were random loud noises from the window area.
Service is great as typical of a hotel like St Regis. The butler called us shortly after check in to ask if we need anything. Our stay came with breakfast and service was great too. Breakfast itself was above average, a great choice if you like something convenient. We love the yoghurt and bake selection.
Definitely would want to come back again!

Have to say I'm very disappointed with this staycation because we actually checked in so much later. the check in timing was supposed to be at 3pm and we only managed to get our room at 5pm.
This was supposed to be our wedding anniversary+Xmas staycation but the hotel did not respond to my request and we did not get any special arrangements.
Facilities were fitting for 5 star hotel.
Breakfast was served at the Ballroom for this festive season. Variety was good but the food was cold due to the cold temperature in the ballroom.
Not a pleasant stay.

Celebration for wedding anniversary and kid's birthday. Overall high phrases for st regis - being a known luxe brand, it lives up to its name. Only one issue - the staff can be inflexible.

Very good service, room was not ready but we got complimentary drinks at the bar. Double room was not ready but got an upgrade to a king room suite, which was very spacious and comfortable.

We arrived at 3.05pm to check in, at 3.15pm, the service staff said our room is not ready and is still under housekeeping. I have kindly ask for a late checkout the next day given that at 3.20pm, i am still at the hotel lobby waiting for my room. The check in counter said that late check out is not possible, and I was asked if I’m Marriott platinum member, which will allow me to have late checkout. I don’t quite understand why there was a differentiated treatment. I have to give a very unhappy face and persist my stand to the staff to give me a late check out and eventually she gave me 1230pm and I insisted at 1pm. I was given my room key at 3.45pm.
The next day I received a call at 1220pm asking if we are checking out at 12pm… when I already given 1pm late checkout.
The service of check in and getting a late check out is not really not up my expectation given is St Regis and the room I paid was not very cheap at $740 per night.
