5 Charlton Mill Way B&B

My husband and I were visiting Goodwood for the races and wanted to stay over night due to celebrating our anniversary. This was without a doubt one of the best decisions we could have made as we had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful B&B and meeting the wonderful Lizzy (bonus meeting lovely Lola too)! Situated in the most beautiful rural village surrounded by rolling fields just a stone throw away from the race course this B&B is in the most perfect location. We were greeted by Lizzy who ensured our room was ready in good time to allow us to get ready. The room was spotless, bright and airy with a big comfortable bed. We were woken up the next day to beautiful bird song which was a welcome wake up call! Breakfast was gorgeous and lizzy makes it fresh to order, it set us up ready for our journey home! This B&B ticks all the boxes great location, comfortable and cleanrooms and fantastic food however it is Lizzy who really makes this place so special! We cannot thank you enough for making our anniversary weekend so special and for welcoming us in to your beautiful B&B you really do have a business you should be proud of! Cannot recommend enough!

Fantastic B&B, with amazing and funny host Lizzie. Room was cosy and comfy with a lovely en-suite, tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Breakfast was delicious with the best mushrooms ever. Short walk to the local pub for dinner with a helpful torch on the keys as the route is very dark. Would definitely recommend this B&B

Lovely stay with Lizzie. She was very welcoming following our late arrival on a rainy night and accommodating of our dog. Room/bed was very comfortable, bathroom spotless, and breakfast was great (recommend the Full English). Would stay again!

My daughter and I spent the night at this lovely B&B nestled in beautiful and peaceful countryside. Lizzie is the perfect host and treated us amazingly during our stay. It’s a dog friendly site and Lizzie gave a warm welcome to our two dogs. The B&B is in a great spot and has great access to the surrounding areas. The breakfast was super. Our room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. It was comfortable and allowed us to have a great nights sleep. This is one of the best and most relaxing B&B’s We have stayed in and we would highly recommend it xx

My husband and I have never stayed in a B&B before but we decided to book a night here as we were attending a nearby wedding. We just LOVED it. Lizzie makes the checking in process so easy and relaxed… which is a big YES from us. We were chatting over e-Mail beforehand and as Lizzie was going to be out when we arrived, she told us how to get in, where to find our room and took our order for breakfast. So simple! We found the room so cosy, like staying at a friends house. We woke up, had a cup of tea and a biscuit, and then headed downstairs to breakfast. Lizzie was delightful.. so friendly.. and our breakfast was absolutely delicious. We felt so at home, very well looked after, and we would love to stay again one day to explore the area with our little girl.

Such a warm and cheery welcome, a good breakfast and a great location. Owner so nice that it feels like a betrayal to mention the disadvantages, which is that it's quite pricey for what you get, and the walls are thin so you can hear everything that goes on in the next bedroom - there are two next to each other. Safest to book the third one which is to the right as you go up the stairs.
