We were 4 and stayed at the Rivers overnight on Friday 26th May. When we arrived the terrace of the Hotel/Restaurant was heaving with people enjoying food and drinks in the sunshine on the terrace overlooking the canal. I was received at reception with courteousy and kindness whilst stressing about parking somewhere, but was quickly sorted and advised. We settled into our 2 very modern, spotlessly clean and well stocked rooms overlooking the canal. We ate a hearty dinner on the terrace and by 20:00 all of the street became peace and tranquility as last servings were at 19:30. Perhaps for the benefit of neighbours. The 9 roomed accommodation was a delight, and breakfast was ample and delicious. I would totally recommend Sluis and this Hotel especially. Many thanks Rivers !!

One of the nicest cleanest hotels we have stayed in The staff were the friendliest bunch of guys we have ever had the pleasure of meeting Nothing was to much trouble We will definitely return ………..

Rivers hotel & restaurant is a great place to stay when visiting Sluis. The owner and his staff make you feel very welcome, the rooms are nice*, modern, well equipped and the breakfast is very good. *The mattress a bit too soft, but this is personal. Overall I can highly recommend this hotel.

Vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel altijd in voor een praatje. Goede bedden, mooi verzorgde hotelkamer, lekker ontbijt, heerlijk diner. Enige puntje van kritiek, de vloerbedekking op de gang zat helaas vol vlekken. Kortom een super hotel voor een leuke prijs.

Hotel heeft nieuwe eigenaar en dat merk je aan veel zaken.Er moet geinvesteerd worden want het heeft zijn beste tijd gehad.

Aardige personeel. Leuke hotel midden in het centrum, parkeren 500 m bij de parkeergarage. Kamer is heel schoon en netjes. Bed is ook prima. Badkamer en toilet is schoon. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Mooie kamer met uitzicht op het water. Perfecte douche. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Parkeren op 200 m aan 5 € per dag. We hebben ook in het hotelrestaurant gegeten en dit is óók een aanrader. Sluis is ook een héél aangenaam stadje met vele winkeltjes en horecazaken. Wij gaan er zéker terug naartoe !

Er is geen lift. Valiezen dien je zelf naar boven te dragen. Als je minder goed te been bent, kies je best voor een kamer op de 1ste verdieping. De kamer was heel proper, maar... De matras van kamer 1 staat helemaal bol. De zijkanten hangen af. De kamer was ook veel te warm waardoor we met de venster open moesten slapen. En helaas ligt dit hotel vlak aan dancing Jopie. De hele nacht lawaai tot 4:00 uur in de ochtend. Het hotelpersoneel was vriendelijk en begripvol voor onze problemen, maar een oplossing kwam er niet. Kamer 4 zou een steviger matras hebben, gaven ze als tip bij het uitchecken. Het ontbijt is in buffetvorm en biedt net voldoende variatie. De vloeren aan het buffet waren plakkerig (2 dagen na elkaar). Als je al boekt, kies dan voor de parkeerformule van het hotel.
