Super 8 by Wyndham Smoky Lake

Pro - Staff was excellent to deal with, check in and out was easy and done efficiently. Easily and quickly adressed any requests we had. Con - Room temp was turned all the way down (12 degrees in the winter) when checked in. The electric baseboard heaters take a very long time to warm up the room when its set that low. I understand the conseravtion of energy when the room is not in use, but the room should have been set up accordingly that morning. Overall, would stay there again. :)

We were pleasantly surprised with this property. It is conveniently located as it is just off the highway. It is next to a gas station & huge convenience store which has a cafe. SUPER clean and spacious room, laminate flooring & large screen TV. The beds/pillows were SO comfortable and we appreciated the clean white linens. The bathtub area is nicely tiled and had lots of hot water. Fluffy white towels. Breakfast was offered at the cafe next door and we were able to pick pre-made items and coffee. There was only a few things that we would have liked….there was no microwave or clock. The desk chair was ripped & the lounge chair was stained otherwise we would have given it five stars.

My stay was quite delightful honestly. I wasnt expecting a lot since its in a remote location. But overall i would recommend this location. The exterior is dated,but thatbis kind of expected. The room i stayed in was clean and comfortable.

Very clean hotel, cleaning staff was so friendly. And the complimentary breakfast next door was well worth the price

Very run down. Stains on furniture and drapes. Someone had previously kicked the door in and it was never fixed. Door trim was detached from the wall. Definitely needs a remodel.

This motel is definitely for the local trucker or someone passing through. Don’t expect any bells or whistles. Good big comfy bed. Value for money if you are not after an experience or being pampered.

Rooms were excellent. Could have used a microwave.

Room was clean and nice. Staff were very friendly. Close to everything in town. I was given a coupon for dinner in town, which was great. Good value and service for the rate I was charged which is hard to come by these days!
