Santa's Hotel Aurora & Igloos

obsługa jest dobra i zrelaksowana, personel to zrelaksowani, normalni ludzie. jedzenie dobre, makaron z hamburgerami i łososiem były smaczne, śniadanie dobre i wystarczające. Pokój jest czysty, a sauna jest przyjemna po wizycie w tundrze. Polecam ten hotel.

Mieszkaliśmy w tym pięknym hotelu na 3 noce na początku grudnia w ramach pakietu TUI do Laponii. W drodze do hotelu zatrzymaliśmy się po sprzęt zimowy. Transfer około 1 godziny 30 minut. W kurorcie Luosto znajduje się kilka hoteli, stok narciarski, sklepy z pamiątkami i supermarket po przystępnej cenie. Średni koszt kieliszka wina i piwa wynosi ponad 10 GBP. Pokój: Bardzo przestronny, mieliśmy podwójne łóżko i rozkładaną sofę w innym pokoju. Sauna była dodatkowym bonusem. Jeśli chciałeś sprzątać, po prostu musiałeś zapytać w recepcji. Przechowywaliśmy nasz sprzęt śnieżny w ogrzewanym pomieszczeniu na parterze, co było przydatne. Lokalizacja: Hotel znajdował się zaledwie 5 minut spacerem od stoku narciarskiego. Jako trzyosobowa rodzina wszyscy mieliśmy 45-minutową lekcję za około 130 funtów. Można tu także pojeździć na sankach i tubingu, co kosztuje nas 20 euro i tak długo, jak chcesz. Gorąco polecam, była świetna zabawa. Jest tu także przyjemna restauracja/bar. Personel: Chciałbym bardzo podziękować całemu personelowi, który był zawsze pomocny i przyjazny. Również mały bar i ładne siedzenia przy kominku. Restauracja: Urocza restauracja i przyjazny personel. Mieliśmy śniadanie z niepełnym wyżywieniem, śniadanie kontynentalne z dużym wyborem, w tym owsianką. Mieliśmy opcję niepełnego wyżywienia, a jedzenie było świeże i smaczne. Nie mieliśmy wyboru, był to tylko zestaw 3 dań, ale na szczęście nie jesteśmy wybredni. Byliśmy trochę rozczarowani, że nie było menu dla dzieci, ponieważ mój syn nie miał możliwości zjedzenia renifera lub zupy rybnej. Zjedliśmy więc na wynos z uroczej restauracji niedaleko Puna Kettu. Tutaj możesz zjeść cudowną pizzę i frytki. Wycieczki: W sobotę mieliśmy sesje degustacyjne, podczas których można było spróbować jazdy na reniferze, husky i skuterze śnieżnym – powiedziałbym, że tylko kilka minut, ale czasami młodszym to wystarczy. Tego dnia było około -20, ale piękne domki, w których można napić się gorącej czekolady i ogrzać się przy ognisku. Kiedy poszliśmy do Świętego Mikołaja, trwało to mniej niż 60 sekund i nie było to nic osobistego, a on wyglądał bardzo sztucznie. Więc ten aspekt był bardzo rozczarowujący. Zapłaciliśmy dodatkowo za nocną wycieczkę mobilną po śniegu, która trwała 3 godziny. W połowie podróży zatrzymaliśmy się w chatce, aby rozpalić ognisko i napić się soku jagodowego. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni, że odbyliśmy tę wycieczkę, ponieważ mieliśmy szczęście zobaczyć zorzę polarną. Zapłaciliśmy także za przejażdżkę husky, która trwała 2 godziny. To była kolejna wspaniała wycieczka, podczas której można było spotkać psy i poprowadzić zaprzęgi. Znów były to zimne dni około -20. Po powrocie do domu zatrzymaliśmy się w Wiosce Świętego Mikołaja, gdzie znajduje się mnóstwo sklepów z pamiątkami. Oceniłem hotel na 4*, ponieważ w hotelu nie ma menu dla dzieci. Myślę, że powinni oferować frytki przynajmniej dlatego, że goście w innych hotelach mieli osobne menu dla dzieci. Chcielibyśmy wrócić do Laponii, ale niestety kosztowało to mnóstwo pieniędzy. Bardzo się cieszymy, że tego doświadczyliśmy i stworzyliśmy tak wiele wspomnień, tak piękne i malownicze miejsce. Wybierając się do tego hotelu, nie będziesz zawiedziony i jest on gorąco polecany. Stayed here over Xmas '23 and had a lovely time. Room was nice with a wonderful view, staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was great. There's child friendly options too. The hotel is in a great location next door to the Ski resort and safari office.

Amazing! We stayed in one of the igloos & it was fabulous. Small but just what we needed for an amazing family stay. The heated glass roof clears the snow so you can lie & see the stars & aurora, whilst in the cosy igloo. The main building is lovely & only a very short walk away. The restaurant was really nice offering a good selection of delicious food served by very helpful staff. The resort itself is small & beautiful, lots of walks & stunning scenery. There is a ski slope which was a 2 minute walk from the back of the hotel. I would certainly recommend & hope t return one day

Stayed a night on our way back South from a week long hike in Muotka. The basic room we booked ahead was very afforable and pleasantly modern. We had previous experience with Santa’s Hotel from their Saariselkä location and it was nowhere near as enjoyable. Everything here was very neat and taken care of, timeless and clean. We enjoyed the sauna in the room, the bed was very comfortable and the basic room had everything we needed. It was bigger than we expected, too. Our only mild complaint was the toilet paper which seemed very cheap and thin. The breakfast was lacking varierty (ie. no bacon, scrambled eggs etc) but it is off-season and it wasn’t very busy at the hotel so it made sense. Still very enjoyable and tasty breakfast, calm area to eat and pleasant staff. Overall, our stay was everything we wanted and the price was very affordable considering the quality of the service and the stay in general! The small grocery store and a good restaurant (Punakettu) were within an easy walking distance, too, and we got to park out car right in front of the hotel entrance.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in December with our 7 year old son. Upon arriving, the hotel appeared worn and in need of a makeover. No lift and stairs that look like they're stuck in the 70's. The breakfast was very disappointing and left a lot to be desired. The beds and fold out sofa were not very comfortable at all. The room felt unwelcoming and bland. To top it off, when my husband became very unwell the morning that we had to leave at 5am for a flight out of Finland, our 7 year old son left his iPad in the room. I had tried to pay our outstanding bill at the reception, only to find that all of the doors were locked, and the only way out was at the end of the 70's style corridor. I emailed the reception to let them know that I had to pay the outstanding bill and requested their account details so that I could transfer the money in, and also to let them know that our son had left his treasured iPad in the room. I received a strange phone call as I was boarding our flight out of Finland (I was literally on the plane looking for my seat!) from the hotel telling me that a transfer driver was waiting for us. The hotel was aware that we had a car as I had discussed parking with them previously. I found the phone call to be unusual and inadvertently naive, with a hidden agenda, The receptionist on the other end went on to say 'Oh, ok then' and accepted that we in fact did have a car, however proceeded to "inform" me of our outstanding bill. I told the her that I had emailed them earlier and to check their emails because I had already told them I needed their account details to pay the bill, The receptionist refused to let me off the phone and it seemed that she was playing ignorant to what I was telling her. I firmly had to tell her that I was looking for my seat on the plane at that point in time and to email me back with the account details. The hotel refuses to provide any account details, and instead generates a link with only 3 days to pay it. As we were constantly on the move every night or two, when I would get a moment to relax and pay the bill, the 3 days would have just lapsed, then have to go back to the hotel to ask them to regenerate the link. The hotel began holding the iPad against us, saying that they cannot help us with the iPad because we hadnt paid using the link. My son uses this iPad to communicate with our family on facetime, and now is without any sort of communication unless he uses my husbands or my phone. If it had been my husbands iPad or mine, I wouldnt be so concerned, however it belongs to a child and the hotel have chosen to hold it against us. I would not recommend this hotel for 5 nights, or 1 night!! If it was the only hotel left in Finland, I would skip Finland completely and suggest others to do the same! Make sure you give very careful consideration to this hotel if you are thinking about staying here, and I hope that nobody else leaves anything there because you wont be getting it back!! After a long day visiting the Zoo and later in the evening Santa Claus, we needed a quite place to relax. Santa hotel was the perfect choice and the experience was perfect and befitting the name. The food was excellent too.

Maybe a perfect place for skiing, but nothing more to do in winter. we can't reach the amethyst mine because on Sunday it's closed. The food was good, the room has a sauna inside. Staff was really nice
