We spent two days in this hotel. During these two days, there was drilling work in the building with a huge noise, it did not stop during the day from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. It was so unbearable that we had to go down to the reception room to work. There were other customers who went down like us because of the noise. We notified the reception, but they did nothing. Old room with hard bed sheet & coverlet, small bathroom with mold. Thing's even worth when it started to rain at night, cuz the the window sills are metallic, the noise of hitting by rain just can't let you sleep. Will never come back again.

Rather tired hotel taken over by Best Western just a month ago. It is being refurbished and once completed will be lovely. The staff were amazing. We asked for a room over looking the car park and they went out of their way to help us. Very tasty breakfast. Only downside was the long walk to the parking area as no access to the back of the hotel.

Good location near the city center and affordable price clean and great breakfast. The premises used to be a Scandic and it still was a Scandic hotel when I stayed there. It’s only a short walk from the train station and the main street. Quiet and pleasant surroundings. Only discrepancy is that there are no climate station and only a small fan is provided in the room so it can get quite warm and hot during the summer months. Otherwise a standard Scandic hotel that now appears to have become a Quality Hotel these days. Breakfast splendid apart from the pancakes and the cold coffee was empty when I went to have breakfast and wasn’t refilled so it must have run out of it so make sure to get breakfast early in the morning it’s a huge breakfast room so no risk of getting crowded. Otherwise nice and clean and up to Scandic hotel Standard. Would stay there again and can recommend.

This was the hotels end of the road with current owner. The spa area is nice but was closed of, and one of the jacuzzis was dirty. The saunas was closed, a bit dissapointing. The breakfast was a disaster. Old veggies and bread.. The personell at the reception was excellent.

I cannot recommend this hotel. Staff is very competent but that is all I can say. Rooms are old and worn down. Beds are smelly. Not sure if I want to sleep in then. I paid 150 Euro for the room. See pictures for more details. I saw a note that the hotel will close in November. That is good.

This hotel has seen it's glory days. The spa is a disaster. The sink was leaking in the room. The room wasn't heated enough and the cleaning was not sufficient. The breakfast served molded bread. Don't stay at this hotel.

The team at Scandic Skogshöjd is just fantastic. Perfect hotel for work in nearby area as well as visiting nearby. SPA is very good, also for kids! I will of course stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others!

This was not a good experience from Scandic. It was a strange spell on floor two where the kids can play and the room we where in had several broken thinks witch we took some photo of. So it was a total disaster actually.

Scandic Skogshöjden is a Hotel with easy access to the Capital of Sweden. With is location it is easy to get there (even if the parkinglots is BAD). I totally recommend this place if you are passing by and need a night or two.
