Villa Oriana Relais

My husband and I stayed here for ten days for our honeymoon. This hotel is absolutely first class. When I first walked in, the view took my breath away. Every morning you can tuck into a home made breakfast with a view of Vesuvius in the background- fantastic. Yes, the hotel is up the hill from the city centre , but this means that it is in a really quiet location compared to the very noisy centre of Sorrento. Plus, you might want an opportunity to walk off some of the pasta and pizza you have been enjoying during your trip! We stayed in the Junior suite which was very spacious and had nice touches like a Dyson hair drier in the bathroom. The best thing about this hotel though is the staff (Marika, Colomba and Maria were the stand out stars for us). They are so kind and friendly and happy to help with any requests. They were able to arrange pick up transport to and from the airport and help us with restaurant recommendations too.

This is the best boutique hotel/villa we've ever stayed in...bar none! It would be easy to say that the accommodation itself is beyond beautiful, or that the food is simply exquisite, but I think the star of the show is the amazing staff who make you feel so very welcome. If we ever return to the region, we would not hesitate to return here!

This hotel property is one of the finest I have ever experienced. Having only 6 rooms, the staff is able and meet every guest's expectations and beyond. They have thought of every detail! Common areas are simple and elegant at the same time. The view of Mt. Vesuvius is spectacular! And... don't forget to spend sometime enjoying the beautiful views from the rooftop bar. Our breakfast each morning was wonderful with fresh fruit, cappuccino, homemade pastries, fresh local meats, cheeses, honey and jams. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to be spoiled. I look forward to returning one day.

I would have to say that Villa Oriana Relais was the absolute most amazing place to stay on my sisters trip. The staff were so very welcoming and friendly. The room was super spacious with a bed and bedding that felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom came with awesome samples of fine toiletries, soft towels and an amazing blow dryer. The grounds of the hotel are glorious and right outside the French doors from my room I had a beautiful and private patio area surrounded by stone and greenery with a view of the ocean. Very serene and private. The icing on the cake was, no less, the wonderful cakes and all the goodies that were served in the morning at breakfast. I would definitely stay here again, but for longer.

Eine wunderbare stadtnahe Lage etwas oberhalb Sorrent in einem Zitronenhain. Traumhafter Ausblick, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück mit aufmerksamen Service, im für mich schönstem Frühstücksraum in Italien. Rechtfertigt Spitzenbewertung ohne jeden Abstrich. Parkplatz direkt am Haus.

Estamos emocionadas com cada detalhe… o lugar é super limpo, cheiroso, uma vista estonteante, o café da manhã é lindo, tudo fresco, gostosíssimo! Recebemos muito carinho e amorosidade de TODAS as pessoas que trabalham aqui. A recepcionista, a camareira, o pessoal da cozinha. Quando chegamos, recebemos um bolo mesclado (eu sou mineira e super exigente com bolos ＞ estava incrível!) e uma limonada (a melhor que já tomei). Quando fomos embora, fizeram dois brioches recheados SÓ PRA NÓS (antes do horário oficial do café da manhã) e colocaram a mesa com tudo que podiam, para não sairmos sem a experiência magnífica do café da manhã. E a Raquel (brasileira muitoooo carina) foi até a porta para ver se precisávamos de algo… depois ainda abriram o portão automaticamente quando estávamos saindo com o carro. As malas, eles levaram e buscaram no quarto, no check-out e no check-in. Um dia a noite, quando fomos pedir pizza no quarto, a recepcionista nos ajudou, pediu pra nós no restaurante perto (pizzaria deliciosa!) e, porque íamos comprar duas águas, ela disse que no hotel tinha e nos deu como um “mimo”. Quando a pizza chegou, ela nos deu dois pratos com talheres e guardanapos. Em toda a experiência nos sentimos VISTAS e AMADAS, fomos cuidadas e mimadas. Parabéns por ter mulheres tão incríveis trabalhando com a senhora, dona Maria. Todas te elogiam muito 👏 da próxima vamos nos conhecer pessoalmente (deixamos um vídeo no celular da Raquel para a senhora). Un bacione grandioso!!!! Thank you - we had a lovely few days at the Villa Oriana Relais. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the views are stunning. We had a marvelous stay at the Villa Oriana. The grounds are clean and gorgeous and the views are so amazing and allow for a sense of peace and relaxation. Our accommodations were comfortable and spacious. The staff there work hard to meet your needs and Maria, the owner personally takes time to make sure you are happy and comfortable. Breakfast there was often the highlight of our stay. We looked forward to the spread each morning! Fresh fruit and juice, coffee, yogurt, homemade baked goods, meats and cheeses...all delicious. We happened to come on the first day of opening in the spring season and we felt they were well prepared. The location is up on a hill more at the edge of Sorrento. If you are fit to walk and climb stairs, the stay is well worth the extra steps of the shortcut to town. But if not, you may need to factor in the costs of a taxi or car. We are a family with active teens so the shortcut stairs, although long and steep, were manageable. Overall, our stay there was lovely and we'd be thrilled to return one day!

We just checked out of Villa Oriana Relais. We had a lovely time. Maria and staff were so friendly, kind and made us feel so welcome and at home all the time. The breakfast every morning was beautiful and there are beautiful views while enjoying the breakfast. It was very clean and comfortable and so peaceful when you went inside the gate. Maria very kindly gave us some beautiful takeaway breakfast when we were leaving. We really enjoyed all Maria's home baking and are so glad we picked here for our stay in Sorrento and will hopefully return some day.
