The location - right across from the beach - is absolutely perfect. There's a decent cafe out the front, and it's a 5 minute walk to the Surf Life Savers club for more food. No complaints about the location. The ammenities are ok. The bathrooms were warm with really nice hot showers. This is the first Tasman / Big 4 that I've been to that did not supply dish liquid or dish brushes at the camp kitchen. I didn't love that. The main issue, and reason for the 3 star rating, is the size of the sites. These are THE SMALLEST sites of any Big 4 or Tasman we've ever stayed at. If you thought Airlie Beach sites were a little tight, you have not seen these ones. We have a small Jayco - second smallest model in existence. The site can only accomodate the Jayco itself. We could not set up our 3x3 gazebo, and here is the most surprising -- there isn't even any room for your car!??! Like, you cannot even park your car there at your site. These sites are literally 6m by 4 m, and nothing else can go there but your camper trailer. The back of our pull-out bed was inches from the the camper van behind us. You can hear the people next to you fart, let alone every word they utter. It's so disappointing that they've decided to make these sites so small. We would only ever stay there again if we were guaranteed a site that could take your car, gazebo and camper. We walked all around the park, and there are a few sites in the back that you can do this. Im not sure if they were long-termer though. Too bad about this major issue.
