The Brewers Arms

Stayed here 2 nights . The bed ,pillows and bedding are all good quality and very comfy . Lovely people work here aswell . Overall I have no complaints . Very happy ,lovely stay.

After reading the general views. I think my experience is the `norm`. Been visiting the Brewers for 35 yrs+ I am surprised that the general attitudes of some staff has not improved. Never visited here for the sparkling attitudes of the owners, but in fact to meet up and socialise with friends and have a laugh. The pub itself is lovely and set in the perfect location for our lovely village. It is clearly time for the owners to move on and give someone a chance who really wants to be there, and also who could maybe smile and not through gritted teeth.

Comfortable bed, well appointed clean modern bathroom, good pub downstairs, delicious full English cooked to order. Great value. What's not to like ! Free car park two minutes walk away. Great for events at the David Hall nearby

Excellent stay. The staff couldn't have been better, from checking in to checking out. I really couldn't fault a thing. We will definitely be back!

We arrived at peak restaurant/bar/pub time, so were welcomed and shown to our room very promptly. There was no onsite parking, as it was a Saturday afternoon we could park in the restricted zones nearby without penalty. The place is located in a cute little village with few shops. Our room was very clean and well presented, an old building with uneven floors. With the pub downstairs we could hear a bit of noise but it wasn't bad at all. The helpful lady who escorted us to our room said if we were quick we may still get a table for dinner and gave us alternatives if we couldn't. When we went to ask for a table, the manager was less helpful, & stressed and told us 'no chance'. We had to drive for a few miles to get a table elsewhere. Best to check first and book ahead, with very few options these places get booked up. There was a nice breakfast room and they offered whatever you fancied for breakie which was also good. This place is small & cosy, very well kept with every space inside and outside prepared for guests. It is not a place for wheelchairs and older people may struggle with the stairs or noise. But we do recommend as good value.

My Husband and I stayed the night as we were going to a Wedding, I contacted the Brewers Arms to see if we could drop our overnight bag and check in earlier, The staff were very helpful and kind, room lovely and clean and amazing Breakfast. Thank you all

Excellent stay,friendly staff and great service

Fantastic place. Great rooms and the B & B was brilliant. Brekkie superb. The bar for locals and visitors was packed. It was lovely and the staff so welcoming. Lovely and reasonable play to stay. Well done all!

First time stay, room was very clean and tidy, staff friendly and polite, would definitely stay again.
