Great location Spotlessly clean Comfy bed and pillows Superb breakfast Emma was a brilliant host Amazing value for money Only stayed one night but wish it could've been longer Defo stay here rather than a generic chain type B&B Free parking just behind B&B

Really good value for money. We stayed in the twin room cosy en-suite all very clean and presentable. Blackout curtains were a great touch. Emma the landlady was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast superb with lots of choice. A great selection

The room was perfectly clean and adorable with a kettle and plenty of teas and coffees and a yummy Viennese whirl! The breakfast was delicious. The landlady was lovely and very helpful and welcoming. There was free parking. Overall a great place to stay and super value for money.

Emma (Landlady) was so helpful even before we arrived sending information and directions. We had a friendly welcome and chats with lots of tourism advice. Room was clean, comfortable, bright and airy, with a Seaview. Breakfast plentiful, lots of choice and perfectly cooked. We will be very happy to return and to recommend The Moorings B&B.

I highly recommend this bed and breakfast. I’ve just stay for a couple of nights. It’s small and friendly, impeccably clean and an excellent freshly cooked breakfast. It’s very reasonably priced too and a wonderful view of the sea to walk out to in the mornings.

Warm welcome, lovely view of the water, great room and amazing breakfast. Cannot recommend this establishment enough. Nothing was too much trouble from the fantastic landlady. Literally planning another stay there already.

We stayed here for one night , The guest house is perfectly located for everything in and around southend, Parking is free in a car park that’s a couple of minutes walk away Our room was clean comfortable and quite , The breakfast was really nice and there was plenty of choice as well , we would definitely stay again
