I recently enjoyed staying at this lovely, well-located B&B, which I highly recommend. The comfortable bed and beautifully designed room made my stay relaxing and enjoyable. What's more, Mia and Sony were fantastic and always willing to assist with any questions or requests I had. Thank you :) Overall, my experience was wonderful, and I would definitely consider staying at this B&B again.

We booked Beckett’s for a family gathering after a funeral. As some of us were travelling some distance we booked 5 of the 6 rooms for 2 nights as well. Nothing was too much trouble, the bar was kept open for us so we could socialise and watch the football. The event we had was catered perfectly and we all agreed that the venue, food and drinks were superb. The rooms were great, lovely large beds, comfortable bedding and excellent amenities. The staff provided anything extra we required (additional tea bags, fresh towels etc) and were very helpful with local directions and recommendations. As Beckett’s doesn’t provide food, beyond a light breakfast, you will need to eat out. We weren’t impressed with the Greek restaurant next door but had a fabulous meal at Agora nearby, just a 10minute walk from the hotel. We are planning a return.

I came to Portsmouth with a friend for a one night stay following a football match. We had two single rooms and the accommodation was ideal for us as essentially we only needed a bed for the night as we knew we'd be out all day. Check in was easy, the rooms were on the small side but they were clean and tidy and had everything we needed and the full English breakfast in the morning was lovely. Parking was easy to due to the permit we were given and we were able to park on the road a few doors down from the hotel. The bedrooms were at a nice temperature, the beds were comfortable and we both slept well with no overnight disturbance from anything. Overall we thought the Pembroke was very reasonably priced and good value for what we wanted and the next time we go to Portsmouth for a football match (hopefully next season) we would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Me and my partner stayed here for my partners birthday. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to make our time special. Many thanks to sonny and Jodie for giving us a great time. The room was very nice although could of been bigger but for what we paid for was certainly worth it . The breakfast was very nice as well and also the drinks and cocktails were exceptional. Me and partner will definitely be back again.

What a stylish boutique B&B. The design and decor are outstanding. The staff were absolutely delightful from Mia who welcomed us and served breakfast and answered any questions we had, to the owners wonderful Mum who was serving drinks in the very stylish bar alongside a cozy log fire. Our room was stunning and so sympathetically designed as is the whole building. The attention to detail was amazing and we cannot wait to go back.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Portsmouth. The price is good, the room / bed is great and the breakfast is just enough. And all presented and informed by the brilliant team! The parking situation is ok - you just have o pay on the meter which is cheap. I leave the room before 8.00am so there is no cost... I have been many times and will continue to do so!

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful, friendly, clean hotel for work purposes over two nights in their Room Number 6. You could not ask for a warmer welcome from Mary who checked us in and the bar is dutifully manned by the very knowledgeable and talented Sonny, whose namesake "Sonny's Lady" cocktail is not to be missed! If you are staying in Portsmouth for any length of time, avoid the large hotel chains and stay at this high-quality, passionately-run and professionally organised haven.

The cocktails were perfect, reasonably priced, staff are super friendly and hospitable. Jody was our server and she gave us useful suggestions on the best cocktails and the bars 2 for 1 deal. We were served any cocktail we could think of and it was delicious every time. Very warm and lovely vibe. Music was sick af!!

Friendly staff. OK breakfast. Good location for attractions. We’d not realised that the place was also a bar with music playing while ever it was open. It was cold outside so the heating was on but it was very difficult to control the temperature. Thermostatic radiator valves would have helped. No the most restful of places as a result. May suit those looking for a cocktail bar experience but it was not for us.
