Spa Hotels in Mauritius

As someone who’s traveled around Mauritius quite a bit, I can honestly say Legend Hill Resort and Spa is one of the best new properties on the island. It’s perfect for honeymooners, family vacations, or anyone just needing to disconnect and recharge in a beautiful setting. The combination of incredible location, luxurious accommodations, amazing food, and top-tier service can’t be beaten. We’re already planning our next trip back—10/10 would recommend! 🌟

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le cadre, les buffets étaient très appréciés du point de vue de la nourriture, qualité et diversité. Manger avec la vue sur l’océan a été très appréciable. Le personnel très présent et bienveillant, ainsi que d’une grande gentillesse.  Merci infiniment à Emilie pour ses conseils et disponibilité. Merci au chef pour le repas que nous avons dégusté, le plateau de fruits de mer, car ça été un moment inoubliable. Concernant le SPA, dont nous avons fait un massage en duo, avec bain, merci à Sweta et Léanne pour leur professionnalisme et la qualité de leur travail. J’ai également fait une manucure avec pose vernis semi-permanent avec Léanne et son travail fût top 👍🏻  Merci à Dana, responsable du SPA, pour sa bienveillance. Nous remercions tout le personnel ainsi que les managers du complexe Tamarina, car notre séjour s’est extrêmement bien passé, dans un cadre calme et de toute beauté. Olivier&Myriam (Suisse)

Wspaniała obsługa od personelu. Uczynili naszą rocznicę dodatkowe specjalne dla nas. Byliśmy po prostu trochę rozczarowani jedzeniem, głównie zjadliśmy w innych restauracjach, kiedy tu zostałem. Bardzo zalecam pobyt w willi. Niestety, strona plaży jest tylko dobra, aby spojrzeć i nie dobra, aby się dostać.

Rats in restaurant On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice. We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food. The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for. Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience: - Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness - Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful - Rooms didn’t feel clean - Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast - Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it) We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

We had a great time here! Nice hotel, fresh and clean. We were delighted by the wonderful hospitality of the staff. Totally recommend!

Priorytetem dla wszystkich pracowników Salt jest zapewnienie najwyższej jakości obsługi klienta i zaspokojenie ich potrzeb w pięknym i relaksującym otoczeniu! Wszyscy byli mili i gościnni, co sprawiło, że nasz pobyt był udany! Uwielbialiśmy łatwy dostęp do plaż, a także liczne atrakcje wodne oferowane przez hotel. Panowie w hangarze na łodzie byli pomocni i zachęcali nas do udziału we wszystkich aktywnościach! Plaża jest bardzo czysta, z zapierającymi dech w piersiach widokami na krystalicznie czystą, turkusową wodę, słoneczne dni i piękne wschody i zachody słońca! Spa Salt Equilibrium jest bardzo przyjemne! Anju ma wesołą, beztroską osobowość, jest bardzo profesjonalna i kompetentna w zakresie masażu! Jedzenie było dobre, ale z przyjaciółką zgodziłyśmy się, że jest trochę za drogie! Śniadania są przygotowywane na zamówienie! Moim ulubionym były croissanty z czekoladą i pralinami… ach! I latte chai! Koktajle nie były naszymi faworytami, ponieważ barmani byli chyba początkujący. Mają jednak dobry wybór win! Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, nasze doświadczenie było doskonałe i z pewnością ponownie zarezerwowalibyśmy ten hotel! Polecamy transport (motocyklem lub samochodem), aby móc zwiedzić inne zakątki wyspy! Recepcja hotelu z chęcią zarezerwuje dla Państwa transport!

Great hotel. Perfect location! The beach in front of the hotel (and the whole Le morne beach) is so stunning. The water is sooo clear and had different shades of blue. We stayed all over the island on our trip but we find Lux Le morne has the most amazing beach with the view of Le morne mountain and when you go out in the sea and look back at the hotel, it’s just so so stunning! The room was also cozy with very comfortable bed. The only bad thing about the room was the hot water in shower sometimes just stopped working (finished) and we had to wait!! There are a lot of sun beds but if you don’t reserve one, they are usually all taken by the afternoon. Breakfast was good. Lots of water activities. The gym was a bit too small and sauna took forever to get heated so we gave up. Service was good. The pools were beautiful with the view of Le morne mountain. Overall, we loved this hotel and enjoyed our stay a lit. This was our most fav hotel in Mauritius and if we ever return, we would stay here again.

Pros Good service (but we had better at other 5 star hotels) Beautiful pools (especially the adult pool) Good breakfast Spacious room Lots of water activities Cons Room (wooden) floor squeaked loudly when walked on We stayed downstairs and we could hear people in the room above us walking, closing the door, dragging their chair (a lot when they returned from dinner late around midnight) We had bad nights because of this. Room AC is not cold. Even though it’s set at the lowest (18.5c) it felt like 25c Overall, it was an ok stay but we won’t stay here again.

W cenę wliczone są wszystkie posiłki, możesz jeść i pić o każdej porze. Myślę, że bardzo wygodnie jest zabrać ze sobą dzieci. Musisz tu zostać, jeśli chcesz uprawiać kitesurfing. Mimo że pokój nie jest szczególnie stylowy, jest czysty i schludny... Nasz apartament rodzinny ma wystarczająco dużo miejsca, a w sklepie można kupić także chusteczki do demakijażu, co rozwiązuje moją wielką potrzebę... Stosunek ceny do jakości jest naprawdę wysoki! !

Lokalizacja tego hotelu jest bardzo dobra, woda morska jest wspaniała, plaża obok hotelu jest pełna koralowców, dużo ryb, a nurkowanie z rurką jest bardzo dobre. Ale sam hotel nie jest dobry. Wyposażenie jest stare, a obsługa przeciętna. Najważniejsze jest to, że nie ma jak dobrze odpocząć. Głośna muzyka gra do późna w nocy, a goście nie mają jak wybrać lub odmówić. Czy najważniejszym priorytetem hotelu nie jest zapewnienie ludziom dobrego snu? Krótko mówiąc, ta plaża jest wysoce zalecana, ale ten hotel nie jest polecany.
