Loved our stay at Hopkins Ordinary Bed and Breakfast! Large charming room. The large clawfoot tub! And the covered porch. I love a porch! Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Sherri made sure we had everything we needed. And the breakfasts were fantastic! The B&B was an easy drive from the Shenandoah National Park that we were visiting. Would definitely return.

Our second wonderful visit and the experience just keeps getting better! The location is perfect for fall hikes along the Blue Ridge and proximity to fantastic restaurants and cafes, or to just unwind around a fire in the little biergarten with the Inn's home-brewed ales. The innkeepers, Blair and Fell, were the perfect hosts, and now new friends, and created memorable, delicious breakfasts featuring local, seasonal ingredients. We will return, but more often... We're also going to give this experience to more family and friends.

This is our favorite Inn near Shenandoah National Park. We love going hiking in the area including visiting Old Rag and follow it up by having delicious beers in the Inn's beer garden. Sheri and Kevin are wonderful hosts, and the morning breakfast is always gourmet. We took friends out there for the first time, and they loved it.

Robert and Caryn started the VIP treatment before we arrived! Caryn knew it was our anniversary and provided information and recommendations on local places to go. She even called ahead to see if they had room for us, definitely above and beyond! Robert and Caryn made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and tailored our service to where we felt like we were the only ones at the inn, which was not the case, they were fully booked! Robert made the most fabulous breakfast and remembered my dietary restrictions. The Inn’s history and town of Sperryville is so quaint, a great place to relax in the front porch swing! Robert and Caryn proved VIP five star service begin with preparing for our visit until we left on Sunday morning, we truly felt like we had friend by the time we left!

After a warm welcome and a little relax time in our very comfortable accommodations, our friends joined us and Sherrie served us a delicious beer on the porch. We had dinner out, but in the morning we had a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit and oatmeal waffles with homemade applesauce, maple syrup and bacon. Great way to start the day before the ride home. Definitely recommend for the great hospitality.

Many times I have had the pleasure of staying at Hopkins Ordinary B&B. Each visit has been gratifying. Rooms are always clean, breakfasts were fabulous. Cannot forget the brewery either. Beers just enjoyable. Missed Caryn and Robert as they were away but Sherri and Kevin were the great hosts that they have always been. I will be back.

The rooms were so charming and the staff were really friendly and attentive! When we arrived, Sherri showed us to our room and explained everything the B&B had to offer and gave us some tips about the local area! The Aleworks attached also had a fun atmosphere and we met some other couples who we had great conversations with. At breakfast, Sherri and Kevin served up some delicious whole grain waffles with maple syrup and homemade applesauce. It was delicious and they offered suggestions on hiking trails and other activities in town. It was an absolute pleasure visiting!

This was the perfect place for a quiet getaway. Caryn and Robert treated us like family and were always willing to recommend a nearby hike, restaurant, or brewery/winery to visit — they were a highlight of our experience in Sperryville. Breakfasts are no-fuss and delicious, and the rooms are cozy and well-appointed. Stay in the lavender room if you want to soak in a clawfoot tub and have your own wood-burning stove for chilly nights. Thanks for a relaxing stay!

Had an excellent Spring Break stay at Hopkins Ordinary where we were greeted by excellent hosts; stayed in a beautiful room with a fireplace and clawfoot bathtub; given delicious breakfast each morning; received spectacular recommendations for picturesque hikes and views in the area; and even more! I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you so much, Caryn and Robert!
